Homicide has opened up about the reason for his retirement.
The former TNA star will wrestle his final match tonight, teaming with Bull James against Afa Jr. and Mike Santana at Outlaw Wrestling’s End of an Era event in Brooklyn, New York.
Homicide announced his retirement in an emotional Facebook post, revealing that doctors had discovered a brain cyst. He explained that the cyst had been present for several months and that he had been experiencing worsening vision and speech, ultimately leading to his decision to step away from the ring.
With a career spanning nearly 32 years, Homicide competed for almost every major wrestling promotion except WWE. Throughout his time in professional wrestling, he built an impressive resume, capturing multiple championships, including the TNA World Tag Team Championship, ROH World Tag Team Championship, ROH World Championship, TNA X-Division Championship, NWA World Tag Team Championship, NWA Junior Heavyweight Championship, and PWG Tag Team Championship.
