Backstage:
Maclin looks to take out The Northern Armory, but Eric Young stops him. He says they’re doing this for him because he knows what’s better for him more than he does. Kazarian says he’s enjoying watching him crash and burn. Maclin walks away from him.
NXT Champion Oba Femi face to face with TNA X-Division Champion Moose:
Oba is in the ring. As Moose makes his way to the ring with The System, he calls for security. He wants security to keep them separate. Oba asks what all that is. Moose says that is for his protection.
Oba says that last year, as he was on his way to becoming the greatest North American Champion in NXT, there were rumblings about Moose. He says now they’re not rumblings; they’re demands.
Oba says he couldn’t help but wonder, after all that time, why now? Moose says he’s a prizefighter, and he always fights for the biggest prize in the game. He says he waited until Oba was the NXT World Champion so that he would cross the line.
Oba says he understands Moose is one of the most freakish athletes in the game. He has taken out some of the biggest names in the business, but none of those names are Oba Femi. Moose says in a few days at Madison Square Garden, he’s going to dethrone the ruler and become the face of the franchise. There is nothing he can do about it.
Oba asks why he hasn’t taken out the security. Moose says he knew he’d say that. JDC tells the security that the first person to jump is Oba, who joins The System. Oba takes them all out. Moose hits The Spear on Oba and poses with the TNA X-Division and NXT World Championship belts.
Ace Austin & The Rascalz (Trey Miguel & Zachary Wentz) vs. The Northern Armory (Eric Young, Judas Icarus, & Travis Williams)
Wes Lee Tyson and Tyriek come out, but Wentz hits a moonsault on Tyson.
RESULTS: The Northern Armory defeats Ace Austin & The Rascalz via pinfall with a piledriver.
Backstage:
Mike Santana complained to Santino Marella because Ali is going into Athem to demand a drug test out of Santana. Marella said he found it ridiculous but asked him to do it still so he could prove everyone wrong. Santana then noticed Tasha Steelz shouting at a backstage worker to get Mustafa Ali’s coffee right.
Santana noticed this, and after Steelz left, he told the backstage crew he would take care of it. Then he brought the drug test and Ali’s coffee cup into the bathroom.
