Marijuana No Longer On WWE’s Banned Substances List

During an interview on The Speakeezy podcast, WWE star Michin discussed various topics, including marijuana use in professional wrestling.

Michin revealed that WWE has become more accepting of marijuana use, noting that it was removed from their banned substances list a few years ago:

“Because it’s [marijuana] more legal, they’ve kind of accepted it. So before, that used to be…marijuana used to be on the drug list, and they took that off a couple [of] years ago.”

This policy change aligns with a broader trend of organizations recognizing the potential benefits of marijuana, such as pain relief and mental health support. WWE’s openness on the matter allows talent to make their own informed choices regarding its use, reflecting a more progressive approach within the company.
