The back-and-forth between Mandy Rose and Tiffany Stratton continues, following Rose’s comments last month on her Power Alphas podcast.
The situation began when Rose noticed Stratton using the phrase “put some respect” on her name during a promo on the January 10th episode of SmackDown—a catchphrase Rose had previously used. On her podcast, Rose playfully called out Stratton for using her line but also gave her credit for her recent success in WWE.
Stratton later responded in an interview with Ring The Belle, downplaying Rose’s remarks:
“Honestly, I think it’s a little sad that she felt the need to go on her podcast and say something like that. I wish her the best, honestly.”
This week, Rose addressed the backlash to her comments, clarifying that she was never attacking Stratton and that her words were taken out of context.
“Damn, Twitter is so funny. From our last episode about Tiffany Stratton, these haters… Did you see…? Let’s be clear: I never bashed Tiffany Stratton. In fact, I praised her in a previous episode, saying she’s an amazing talent and definitely going places. Look at her—she’s already a champion, and she’s only been on the main roster for probably less than two years. I’ve always commended and highly complimented her.”
She went on to address the backlash she received from some fans:
“People were going nuts, saying, ‘Oh my God, you’re just jealous! You’re this, you’re that. She’s done more.’ I’m like, ‘Guys, calm down!’….I just posted a video on there just talking about how you know y’all got to calm down and not take everything so seriously, like so literally. It was a little extreme, but Kudos to Tiffany Stratton, okay, because I think she’s an incredible talent, and there’s no hate, trust me.”
Despite the online buzz, it appears there’s no real animosity between the two stars—just a case of social media amplifying a lighthearted exchange.
