Wednesday night’s AEW Grand Slam: Australia go-home episode of Dynamite saw “The Rated R Superstar” Cope and “Switchblade” Jay White steal AEW World Champion Jon Moxley’s briefcase, which contains the World Championship. Cope and White then threatened to break it open with Cope’s spiked 2×4 until the Death Riders attacked both men and got the briefcase back, only for Cope and White to stand tall as the show came to a close.
Due to the actions of Cope, Moxley agreed to defend his AEW World Championship against The Rated R Superstar at next month’s Revolution PPV.
This is the first match announced for the Revolution PPV, which will take place on Sunday, March 9th, at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, California.
