WWE Hall of Famer The Undertaker appeared on Busted Open Radio to discuss several topics, including who he thinks will induct WWE Chief Content Officer Paul “Triple H” Levesque into the Hall of Fame class of 2025 during WrestleMania 41 weekend.
Undertaker said, “Shawn, I think.”
On if it is a no-brainer that HBK will induct Triple H:
“I think so. Their friendship, the things they did together. Obviously, I have a tremendous history at WrestleMania with him and we’ve had great matches, but it’s gotta be Shawn. That’s his call. Wherever he goes, you can’t make a wrong call there, but I would guess Shawn. If not Shawn, Stephanie [McMahon].”
On Triple H’s Hall of Fame announcement:
“It was such an inside job. It just reaffirms that if you want to, you can still kayfabe and keep surprise people. If you can pull the wool over Triple H in the WWE offices … who has his hands in everything — I was proud and honored because it was him and I have so much history with him.”
On why it had to be done this wa:
“He can’t put himself in there. People are going to s*** all over that. It had to be done. It was so stealthy and well done. Nick called Shawn and me, we put a plan together, the plan was implemented to perfection and it caught him off guard.”
