MMA legend Josh Barnett appeared on The Ariel Helwani Show, where he discussed several topics, including facing former WWE star Baron Corbin (Tom Pestock) at The People vs. GCW in a Bloodsport Rules Match.
Barnett said, “We put together this Bloodsport match for the Hammerstein show, being that Bloodsport is a big premier event under the GCW banner, and this is kind of like a GCW WrestleMania of sorts, at least that’s the way I see it. We needed something big, so six-foot-six, six-foot-seven, 280 pounds, that’s pretty big, and it was quite the battle. He is definitely someone who has combat skills. I could tell that the boxing experience is there, jiu-jitsu purple belt, he just won a tournament. So he came prepared.”
