Another WWE Hall of Famer has been confirmed for the Saturday Night’s Main Event special set to take place on Saturday, January 25, 2025, at the Frost Bank Center in San Antonio, Texas.
In addition to the confirmed bouts—WWE World Heavyweight Champion GUNTHER vs. Jey Uso and WWE Intercontinental Champion Bron Breakker vs. Sheamus—the latest episode of WrestleVotes Radio on SportsKeeda’s Backstage Pass Patreon revealed that San Antonio’s own Shawn Michaels is slated to appear on the show.
“We can confirm that there are plans for San Antonio’s own Shawn Michaels to be present and appear on the show. We are told HBK likely won’t have any physicality to his involvement, but WWE is planning on utilizing the legend in his hometown next weekend. TC, it’s always fun to see Shawn Michaels show up. I know he’s present almost each and every week on NXT, but he’s certainly less HBK on that show than he could be in a special appearance.”
The January special is expected to feature just a handful of matches, similar to the December edition, with Michaels’ appearance adding star power to the event. While HBK’s role may be non-physical, his involvement in his hometown is sure to make the show even more memorable for fans.
