According to Fightful Select, Ricky Starks had to ask permission from AEW to perform at the first GCW show he appeared at. He was initially set to compete in several others, but due to the deteriorating AEW-GCW relationship, he was no longer allowed to do so.
The report also mentioned that Starks still has permission to work on the Indie scene, just not with GCW. Starks hasn’t been seen on AEW television since March of this year.
