All Elite Wrestling held a double TV taping last night from the Hammerstein Ballroom in New York City for the December 25th Dynamite On 34th Street special and the December 27th episode Rampage.
During last night’s double tapings, AEW President Tony Khan made a big announcement regarding Rampage and said the company will be taping the last episode of the show for the foreseeable future. The show on Friday, December 27th on TNT at 10PM EST will be the final episode for now, as Rampage will be discontinued in 2025 based on the current plans.
AEW launched Rampage in August 2021 as its second weekly television program, typically airing on Friday nights at 10PM EST. The show’s highest viewership was in the second episode, when CM Punk returned to professional wrestling after seven years and announced his signing with AEW. That week’s episode drew 1.129 million viewers and a key 18-—to 49-year-old demo rating of 0.53.
