The main event of Tuesday night’s episode of WWE NXT saw reigning WWE NXT Champion Trick Williams defeat Eddy Thorpe in a controversial fashion to retain his title after both men had their shoulders down and two referees counted simultaneous pinfalls.
Immediately following the show, Thorpe confronted WWE Hall of Famer and NXT executive Shawn Michaels. This led to Thorpe pushing Michaels, and Trick Williams intervened as he hit a Trick Kick on Thorpe.
