As 2024 comes to a close, fans will remember it as a career-defining year for Liv Morgan, who solidified her status as a top WWE star through high-profile feuds with Rhea Ripley and Becky Lynch.

Morgan made her return from injury in January during the Women’s Royal Rumble Match, immediately launching into a feud with Lynch. Following WrestleMania 40, she transitioned into a rivalry with Ripley. However, the Women’s World Title was vacated due to Ripley’s injury, setting the stage for a dramatic shift.

Morgan captured the vacant Women’s World Title by defeating Lynch at the King and Queen of the Ring Premium Live Event. Her reign saw her retain the title against Ripley at SummerSlam with assistance from Dominik Mysterio, though Ripley and Damian Priest got the upper hand in a mixed tag match at Bash in Berlin.

The feud continued at Bad Blood, where Ripley defeated Morgan via disqualification in a title match. They clashed again in the Women’s WarGames Match at Survivor Series, where the babyface team of Morgan, Bianca Belair, IYO SKY, Naomi, and Bayley emerged victorious.

On December 11, Morgan celebrated 200 days as Women’s World Champion. Her next title defense is scheduled for December 14 at Saturday Night’s Main Event, where she will face IYO SKY.
