The main event of this year’s WWE Survivor Series: WarGames PLE, held on Saturday night, featured Roman Reigns, The Usos (Jey Uso and Jimmy Uso), Sami Zayn, and CM Punk defeating The Bloodline (Solo Sikoa, Jacob Fatu, Tama Tonga, and Tonga Loa) and Bronson Reed.
It was the first time in a decade that Reigns and Punk had wrestled together. This comes after Paul Heyman asked Punk to assist Reigns fight The Bloodline.
Fans will eventually see Reigns face Punk, but for the time being, he is fighting Solo and the rest of The Bloodline. Punk is likely to take a new route.
Wrestle Ops noted the high numbers of views the main event involving Punk and Reigns received on social media, with a projected 204,000,000 in its first 24 hours. On Instagram, a single loop of Reigns preventing Punk from fleeing the cage and allowing Zayn to go instead received over 75 million views.
