This year’s TNA Turning Point special, held on Friday night at the Benton Convention Center in Winston-Salem, North Carolina and broadcast on TNA+, was memorable. However, one star is believed to be injured after performing.
The show’s main event saw Nic Nemeth defeat Eddie Edwards to retain the TNA World Championship. The event also marked Matt Riddle’s TNA debut.
Joe Hendry defeated Brian Myers, Eric Young, Alex Hammerstone, John Skyler, and Rhino via pinfall in a six-man Thanksgiving Turkey Bowl match. As a result, Myers had to wear a turkey suit.
According to PWInsider.com, Hammerstone injured his knee during the match. No other information regarding the injury, including its severity, was revealed. Myers and Skyler were claimed to have won plaudits for altering things on the fly and staying on course throughout the match.
