New Japan Pro Wrestling (NJPW) issued a press release, where it was mentioned that the 2025 NJPW Academy applications for the company’s first training course of next year is now open.

If you’ve ever wanted to take your first steps into the world of pro-wrestling or learn new techniques that can take you to the next level, this is the time to make it happen! NJPW Academy’s first course of 2025 begins January 20!
The group of coaches and special guests at NJPW Academy have traveled the world performing for the top promotions and bring all of that experience to you! NJPW Academy blends the training of traditional Japanese dojo techniques with American style and lucha libre to give you a pro-wrestling education that you won’t get anywhere else!
Select NJPW Academy graduates have been able to compete for NJPW Strong and other promotions including All Elite Wrestling, Ring of Honor, CMLL & more! The opportunities are there!
One of the best examples of NJPW Academy is Zane Jay. Zane started from the beginner’s class with no prior experience, completed the advanced course and has competed on NJPW STRONG and also had the opportunity to train at the Noge Dojo in Japan!
While nothing is guaranteed, NJPW Academy presents a great opportunity to be seen by NJPW officials, so bring your best and come ready to learn!
NJPW Academy January 2025 Course Information
January 20, 2025 — March 27, 2025
Location: Carson, CA (approx. 15 miles from LAX and 20 miles from Downtown Los Angeles)

Mondays & Wednesdays — 6pm-9pm
Dates: January 20, 2025 —March 26, 2025
Designed for those with little to no wrestling experience
Cost: $2,000 (two payments of $1,000) or single payment of $1,900
Advanced Course Application — Apply here
Tuesdays & Thursdays — 6pm-9pm
Dates: January 21, 2025 — March 27, 2025
Designed for those with over 1 year of wrestling training and match experience
Cost: $2,000 (two payments of $1,000) or single payment of $1,900
