WWE CROWN JEWEL RESULTS – NOVEMBER 2, 2024

“WWE Then. Now. Forever. Together.” narrated by Paul “Triple H” Levesque starts things off as always. We then see a shot of Riyadh, Saudi Arabia as Michael Cole welcomes us to the show.

The Riyadh Season signature quickly plays and then we shoot to the pre-show panel, where Cole, Corey Graves and Big E. welcome us to “Countdown To WWE Crown Jewel 2024.”

After they run down the lineup for today’s big show, we shoot to Cathy Kelley and others as part of the pre-show broadcast team, backstage for quick introductions. They shoot to a Joe Tessitore sit-down interview with GUNTHER.

When the Tessitore-GUNTHER sit-down chat wraps up, we head back to the pre-show panel, where Cole, Graves and Big E. weigh-in with their thoughts on the WWE Crown Jewel Men’s Championship showdown between GUNTHER and Cody Rhodes.

We see some arrival shots for the women’s talent involved in the four-way tag-team title tilt in today’s show. We then see the arrival of WWE Chief Content Officer Paul “Triple H” Levesque, who will be appearing later in the pre-show. Jackie Redmond talks to Solo Sikoa, who tells her to mind her business about his talk with Sami Zayn.

From there, we shoot to a live interview with Seth “Freakin'” Rollins, who talks about his match against “Big” Bronson Reed. The panelists weigh-in with some more talk and then shoot to a video package for the Randy Orton vs. Kevin Owens match.

Back live, Cathy Kelley is backstage with Kevin Owens for an interview. Owens brings up flipping a dune buggy three times as soon as he got to Saudi Arabia. He said Cathy was there and he has no doubt that Orton or Cody Rhodes paid off the driver to make that happen. He apologizes to Cathy for being collateral damage.

After the panelists react to Owens’ wild claims of a driver being paid to put him in a car wreck in Saudi Arabia, they sent things to Peter Rosenberg, who checks in from his in-home studio that he uses sometimes for his HOT 97 broadcasts. He talks more about the Orton-Owens bout and how Triple H spoke about protecting Orton from Owens.

Now we head to the Middle Eastern Social Media Team’s Nathalie Mamo, who sits down for an exclusive interview with WWE CCO Paul “Triple H” Levesque. He talks about the partnership between WWE and Saudi Arabia.

Once that wraps up, the pre-show panelists swap out with a new crew. Replacing Michael Cole and Corey Graves at the panel are Jackie Redmond and Sheamus. They introduce a Big E. main event menu in Saudi Arabia video package, which shows the former WWE Champion eating around the region.

Back to the panel, the panelists send us to a video package that looks at the scheduled showdown between The Bloodline trio of Solo Sikoa, Jacob Fatu & Tama Tonga against Roman Reigns, “Main Event” Jey Uso & Jimmy Uso.

Things head back to the panel, who introduce a special sit-down interview that Cathy Kelley conducted with Cody Rhodes on “The American Nightmare” bus. Nothing special there. When it wraps up, Nia Jax is interviewed backstage live, but doesn’t say much before telling Cathy she’s busy.

A video package airs to tell the story leading up to today’s WWE Crown Jewel Women’s Championship showdown between Nia and Liv Morgan, as well as the Tiffany Stratton Ms. Money In The Bank potential cash-in dynamic. We see a special look at the WWE Experience in Riyadh.

Carmelo Hayes, Andrade and LA Knight arrival footage is shown as the pre-show panelists talk about the WWE United States Championship triple-threat match. Backstage live, Cathy Kelley catches up with the birthday weekend “Mega Star” himself, who talks about his U.S. title defense in Saudi Arabia.

The Bloodline vs. Roman Reigns & The Usos

The Bloodline theme hits to kick off the premium live event portion of today’s show. Out comes Solo Sikoa, Jacob Fatu, Tama Tonga and Tonga Loa, the last of whom will be at ringside for this one.

The fans begin chanting “OTC! OTC!” On cue, Roman Reigns’ theme hits first for the opposition and out he comes accompanied by Jimmy Uso. Wonder if that was planned or an audible was called? Gotta think Jey Uso first, then “The OTC,” no?

The always energetic ring entrance for Reigns and Jimmy’s partner, “Main Event” Jey Uso, hits next. The Riyadh crowd gets YEET-happy as the former WWE Intercontinental Champion makes his way to the ring to join his brother and cousin for battle against his other brother and cousins.

Jey Uso and Tama Tonga kick things off for their respective teams, and it is The Bloodline who gets Jey down and pounds away at him to jump into the early offensive lead. Jey starts fighting back into the lead as fans chant “YEET!” with each shot that lands.

Jimmy tags in and The Usos hit some classic double-team offense as Jimmy settles in and picks up where Jey left off, taking it to Tama. As this continues, fans chant “We want Roman!” Roman sticks his hand out for a tag, but Jey tags Jimmy instead. They exchange tense stares as Jimmy tries reasoning with Jey.

Reigns finally tags in soon after to a big pop. Sikoa also tags in. The OTC and the new Tribal Chief stare at each other before exchanging punches in the center of the ring. Reigns rocks him with an uppercut, so Sikoa head-butts him. Reigns rebounds off the ropes with a pair of clotheslines.

Fatu superkicks Jimmy and hits a spike DDT. Jey runs in and superkicks Fatu twice to send him out of the ring. Jey superkicks Sikoa and superkicks Fatu off the apron. Jey hits the ropes and hits Fatu with a suicide dive, but he catches Jey and head-butts him down.

In the ring, Reigns hits Sikoa with a Superman Punch. Reigns gets fired up in the corner. Tonga goes for some interference, but Reigns pulls him into the ring and lands him on top of the referee. Tonga Loa gets on the apron, but Reigns hits him with a Superman Punch.

Fatu intercepts Reigns and hits a head-butt. Fatu takes out the OTC with a spinning back elbow. Fatu follows up with a double jump moonsault on Reigns before taking the Usos out with a suicide dive. Reigns is writhing in pain on the mat. The referee slowly comes to.

Sikoa hits Reigns with a Samoan Spike. Sikoa grabs him and hits a second Samoan Spike for the win. After the match, The Bloodline beats Reigns down more and then Sami Zayn’s theme hits and the crowd explodes. He teases hugging Sikoa, but ends up laying him out instead.

Zayn goes to hit Sikoa with a big Helluva Kick, but accidentally hit Reigns instead. Sikoa laughs as he retreats with the rest of The Bloodline. Jimmy is yelling at Zayn for what happened. Jey tries playing peacemaker between the two.

Only difference? Rollins’ is almost like a dress.

They eventually take their battle into the ring, and finally the bell sounds to get this match officially underway. Almost instantly Reed lays Rollins out and heads to the top-rope, where he connects with a Tsunami splash. Rollins hangs on, however, and the match continues. Reed continues to dominate as fans rally behind Rollins.

After a few moments, Rollins, who has a few cuts on his back from being slammed into the timekeeper’s area, chops away at Reed. WWE Crown Jewel Women’s Championship
Nia Jax vs. Liv Morgan

The pre-match package airs to set the stage for our first of two inaugural WWE Crown Jewel Championship bouts. First up is the WWE Crown Jewel Women’s title tilt. Nia Jax makes her way out by herself first to pretty much a non-reaction from the Riyadh crowd.

Liv Morgan’s theme hits next and the fans finally make enough noise to be heard on the broadcast for the first time since Rollins/Reed ended. Morgan comes out by herself as well. No Raquel Rodriguez. No “Dirty” Dominik Mysterio.

The bell sounds and we’re officially off-and-running with this one. Jax dominates most of the first several minutes of offensive action and then out of nowhere, Tiffany Stratton comes out and teases cashing in her Ms. Money In The Bank briefcase.

She stops short when she sees Nia is back up and coming at her asking what she’s doing. She begs off and Nia yells at her to go away. She begins doing so, but as the action continues, she teases turning around to cash-in again. Raquel Rodriguez and “Dirty” Dom-Dom end up out there.

Rodriguez stalks Stratton and now Stratton is begging off from her and Liv, until Nia attacks the two from behind. She rolls Liv back into the ring and hits a big avalanche on the ropes. She hits a big leg drop and drags her to the corner.

Dom slides in the briefcase and distracts the ref. While this is going on, Rodriguez knocks Nia off the ropes. Liv follows up with her Ob-Liv-ion finisher for the pinfall victory. With the win, Morgan is the first-ever WWE Crown Jewel Women’s Champion.

Orton’s iconic theme hits next and the Riyadh crowd sing the “Voices in my Head” theme at the top of their collective lungs. Particularly the “They talk to me!” line.

Owens attacks Orton as he is doing his arms out pose on the ropes for his entrance. He bashes a chair into the leg of Orton and then gets him out to the floor at ringside, where he proceeds to stomp the hell out of him. He clears off the commentary table and picks Orton up. Orton fights back, dumping Owens on the announce table.

Back in the ring, before the bell has even sounded to start this thing officially off, Owens hits the referee with a stunner. He grabs a chair but Orton fights back and takes it from him. Orton blasts Owens in the back with it, all-the-while selling his own knee.

The referee and other officials at ringside are waving things off, but Owens and Orton continue fighting, throwing officials away as they do so. Once in the crowd, Owens blasts Orton with a piece of equipment before leaping off a balcony and putting Orton through a table.
