NXT General Manager Ava announced during Sunday night’s NXT Halloween Havoc PLE that ECW original Dawn Marie will be the special guest referee for the Hardcore Match between Lola Vice and Jaida Parker at the November 6 episode of NXT TV, which takes place from the 2300 Arena (ECW Arena) in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
This will be the Marie’s first appearance in WWE since 2005.
Following her WWE exit, Marie sued the company claiming wrongful termination due to her being pregnant at the time and that case was settled in 2007. Marie returned to the ring in 2008 for Women Superstars Uncensored and made a handful of appearances with other promotions in the few years after that.
