Bobby Lashley is expected to make his AEW debut any week now after leaving the WWE a few months ago. One of his final feuds in WWE was with The Final Testament (Karrion Kross, Akam, and Rezar), who he wrestled alongside The Street Profits in a Philadelphia Street Fight at WrestleMania 40.
On The Bump ahead of the fight, Lashley stated that he felt handcuffed over the last year. Kross mentioned on Insight With Chris Van Vliet that they did not have any real-life heat between them.
While doing a virtual signing for K & S WrestleFest, Lashley was asked about Kross. He stated that he thinks highly of him and believes WWE could do more with the Raw star.
Lashley stated, “I think Karrion Kross is great. I hate saying it because I’ve heard several interviews that he tried to bad-mouth me. I think Karrion Kross is great. I think he has everything. I think he’s great in the ring. I think he has good size. He represents that wrestler what you see is a million dollar look….I think he can really be a force. I think he should be used a lot more than he’s being used right now. I think he’s that antagonist you could put against Cody [Rhodes], could put against GUNTHER, you could put the title on him at the top. I think he has a lot of great things about him. He should run on his own. AOP is great, but I don’t think he really needs AOP. I think he and his wife can run on their own and do their thing. I think AOP can go crush people on their own also.”
