ROH World Champion Mark Briscoe appeared on the Battleground podcast to talk about a number of topics, including who he sees as a breakout star in the company.
Briscoe said, “As far as breakout star in, I mean, in Ring of Honor, I mean, man, that’s a tough question because there’s so much young talent. There’s so much, so much young, hungry talent. I’m trying to think here about guys who are exclusive and who haven’t really crossed over into AEW too much. But I mean, like a guy a couple months ago I wrestled. I’d say he’s probably considered an AEW guy by now, but a guy that I wrestled for the title, for the Ring of Honor Title on HonorClub a couple months ago because he pinned me on Dynamite was Kyle Fletcher. Kyle Fletcher is 100% a blue chip, five-star prospect, and he’s just starting to really make waves and really just show what he can do. So, man, keep an eye on Fletcher for sure.”
