WWE Monday Night Raw returns from the Enterprise Center in St. Louis, MO. with a taped episode of the weekly two-hour WWE on USA Network red brand program.
Scheduled for tonight’s show, which kicks off at 8/7c, is Jade Cargill & Bianca Belair vs. Damage CTRL for the WWE Women’s Tag-Team Championships, Bron Breakker vs. Kofi Kingston, R-Truth vs. The Miz, Rhea Ripley will call out Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez, as well as Cody Rhodes and GUNTHER going face-to-face ahead of their showdown for the inaugural WWE Crown Jewel Championship.

WWE RAW RESULTS – OCTOBER 14, 2024
“WWE Then. Now. Forever. Together.” kicks things off as always, and then we see Superstar arrivals backstage at the Enterprise Center in St. Louis, MO., as Joe Tessitore and Wade Barrett welcome us to the show.
Rhea Ripley Kicks Off This Week’s Show
“This is My Brutality” plays on the house speakers and out comes Rhea Ripley to kick off this week’s show. “Mami” gets on the mic after footage is shown of her appearance on last Friday’s episode of WWE SmackDown.
Ripley goes on to call out Liv Morgan “if she’s done running.” Instead, however, Tiffany Stratton’s theme hits. Out she comes and delivers a message to Ripley on behalf of Nia Jax, warning her that she’s got a big problem if she continues down the path she’s been going getting involved in their business.
As Ripley verbally responds to Ms. Money In The Bank, she is ambushed and attacked from behind by Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez, the latter of whom lays her out with a big boot. They leave her laying to end the opening segment.
WWE Women’s Tag-Team Championship
Jade Cargill & Bianca Belair (c) vs. IYO SKY & Kairi Sane
A premium live event style pre-match video package airs to get us ready for championship action in our first match of the evening. When it wraps up, Jade Cargill’s theme hits and out she comes. She stops, the music stops and the entrance tune for Bianca Belair hits.
The WWE Women’s Tag-Team Champions head to the ring to get this week’s in-ring action started with their latest tag-team title defense. As they settle inside the squared circle, we shift gears and head into a quick pre-match commercial break.
When we return, we see Adam Pearce talking to Rhea Ripley backstage when Tiffany Stratton comes up complaining. He makes a match between the two. Back inside the arena, the Damage CTRL duo head out for their title opportunity.
The bell sounds and we see Cargill jump off to an early offensive lead. After some back-and-forth action, Sane hits a big high cross-body splash from the ring to the floor, which we see in slow-motion as we head into a mid-match advertising time out.
This time we return to Damage CTRL dominating the offense until Jakara Jackson and Lash Legend, who are sitting ringside, get involved and blast Sane, leading to Belair hitting the K.O.D. for the win to the women’s tag titles.

Adam Pearce Announces WWE Tag-Team Title Contender Tournament
Backstage, Finn Balor and JD McDonagh are walking-and-talking when they see Raw General Manager Adam Pearce. Balor demands to know when his rematch with Damian Priest is. Pearce says there isn’t one and announces a tournament to determine the challengers for Balor and McDonagh’s tag titles.
Pearce walks off and then we see Liv Morgan and Dominik Mysterio walk up asking when the rematch with Priest will be. They inform her there won’t be one. She says it’s good because they can focus on their titles. Balor walks off. She introduces the gang to Raquel Rodriguez, and Carlito seems to like her. We head to another break.
WWE Tag-Team Title Contender Tournament
War Raiders vs. Alpha Academy
An American Made vignette with Chad Gable, Ivy Nile and The Creed Brothers talking about this country needing a hero. All of the WWE Universe, too. Gable says they’re gonna be that for you. They vow to show the world what it means to be American Made.
Once that wraps up, we shoot to a Bron Breakker vignette where he addresses turning his back on “Main Event” Jey Uso and attacking him after initially showing him respect upon losing his WWE Intercontinental Championship to him.
We then shoot to a “last Saturday” sit-down between Raw G.M. Adam Pearce and “Big” Bronson Reed. Pearce says he gives talent room to handle their own issues how they see fit, but he can’t have the actions Reed showed in Last Monster Standing and his Tsunami attacks on various talents. Reed tells him to make the match with Seth “Freakin'” Rollins and there will be no more trouble. Pearce says it’s that simple? He says he’ll talk to Seth.
When that wraps up, we return inside the arena. The teams of Alpha Academy (Otis and Akira Tozawa) and the returning War Raiders (a.k.a. Viking Raiders) of Erik and Ivar head to the ring for the first match in the tournament Adam Pearce alluded to earlier in the show to determine the next challengers for The Judgment Day.
After some back-and-forth action, we see the War Raiders pick up a relatively easy win to advance in the tournament. We then go backstage and Adam Pearce talks with Seth Rollins, who makes it clear he wants the Bronson Reed fight.
Winners and ADVANCING: War Raiders
Cody Rhodes, GUNTHER Face-To-Face
We see Cody Rhodes being teased next as we head into another commercial break. When we return, the familiar sounds of the entrance tune for “The American Nightmare” plays and out comes the Undisputed WWE Champion for his scheduled face-to-face segment with GUNTHER to promote their WWE Crown Jewel Championship showdown in Saudi Arabia.
He gets on the mic and soaks in the love from the crowd and then brings up the big champ versus champ showdown at WWE Crown Jewel. The theme for GUNTHER hits and the WWE World Heavyweight Champion heads to the ring. GUNTHER talks respectfully at first but then starts punking Rhodes. Rhodes fires back with some verbal bullets of his own and they end on a handshake.
Kofi Kingston vs. Bron Breakker
Footage is shown of the ongoing saga involving The New Day as of late, and then Kofi Kingston makes his way out to the ring for our next match of the evening. When we return, we see a vignette hyping up fast-rising star Dragon Lee.
Back inside the arena, former I-C champ Bron Breakker is introduced and the dogs start barking in St. Louis. He heads to the ring and the bell sounds to get this one started. Breakker jumps off to a dominating start on offense and then we head into a mid-match commercial break.
When we return, Kingston fights back into competitive form, but ultimately gets run over by a spear from Breakker. After Breakker gets the win, he goes to further attack Kofi until Xavier Woods runs him off. Breakker comes in behind Woods and attacks him. Jey Uso’s theme hits and out he comes to hit Breakker with a super kick and a spear of his own.
Winner: Bron Breakker
R-Truth vs. The Miz
Backstage, we see Damian Priest talking with Rhea Ripley. Ripley encourages Priest to go back after the world title that was stolen from him. He says as long as she has beef with The Judgment Day, he does, too.
Back inside the arena, R-Truth makes his way out rapping per usual as he is in the next match of the evening against his former Awesome Truth partner. As he settles in the ring, we head into a pre-match commercial break.
When we return, we see Jey Uso run into Jimmy Uso, who wants to talk. Jey isn’t having it and walks off. Back inside the arena, Miz makes his way out and the bell sounds. Truth still doesn’t seem to understand that they aren’t friends.
As the match gets going, we see a Wyatt Sicks-style production cut-in. We then see The Final Testament get involved, but it backfires and leads to Truth getting Miz with a roll-up for the win. After the match, AOP feed Truth to Miz, who hits a Skull Crushing Finale.
Winner: The Miz
Rhea Ripley & Tiffany Stratton vs. Liv Morgan & Raquel Rodriguez
It’s main event time!
After the match, we head backstage and once again see Jimmy Uso try to talk to Jey. This time Jey is even more emphatic about not wanting to talk. “Get out of my face!” he yells before storming off again.
Back inside the arena, Rhea Ripley makes her way out to the ring for the next match of the evening. As she settles in the ring, we head to another commercial break.
When we return, announced for next week’s show is Jey Uso vs. Bron Breakker for the WWE I-C title, as well as American Made vs. Rey Mysterio & Dragon Lee, as well as New Day vs. AOP in a pair of WWE Tag-Team title contender tournament bouts. The show takes place in Philadelphia, PA.
Out next for her Raw in-ring debut is Tiffany Stratton. She settles in the ring but before the match begins, Liv Morgan’s theme hits and out comes Raquel Rodriguez and Liv Morgan. Now the bell sounds and we see things get started, and then quickly head into a mid-match break.
As we settle back in from the break, we see Liv and Raquel taking turns tagging in and out, dominating Stratton with relative ease. When we return, things get close to wrapping up when out of nowhere, Nia Jax hits the ring and attacks.
Ripley headbutts her but then Morgan beats down Ripley. Nia grabs Morgan and headbutts her as well. Stratton teased cashing in the Money In The Bank briefcase on Liv, but Dominik Mysterio saves Liv. That’s how this week’s show goes off the air. Thanks for joining us!
