WWE Raw returns tonight at 8/7c on USA Network from the Enterprise Center in St. Louis, MO.
On tap for tonight’s show is GUNTHER (c) vs. Sami Zayn for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship, “Main Event” Jey Uso (c) vs. Xavier Woods for the WWE Intercontinental Championship, Pete Dunne vs. Sheamus in a Good Ol’ Fashioned Donnybrook, the return of Seth “Freakin’” Rollins, the fallout from WWE Bad Blood 2024 and more.

WWE RAW RESULTS 10/7/24
“WWE Then. Now. Forever. Together.” gets us started like always, and then we shoot inside the Enterprise Center in St. Louis, MO. as Joe Tessitore welcomes us to the show. We see some arrival shots of various Superstars and then we get things started.
Sexxy Red Kicks Off The Show
Ahead of her scheduled WWE NXT appearance tomorrow night on The CW, Sexxy Red is introduced in the ring to kick off this week’s post-Bad Blood episode of the show. She welcomes us and then a video package airs showing the highlights from Saturday’s premium live event.
CM Punk & Seth Rollins Get Things Started
Once the video package wraps up, CM Punk is introduced and “The Best in the World” makes his way out looking truly beaten up. He is limping and is wrapped up. He stops at the top of the stage and says he learned a lot about himself after surviving Hell In A Cell at WWE Bad Blood.
He talks like he’s going away for a while and ends by saying he’s not sure when he’s going to see us again. As he goes to turn around and walk off, the theme for Seth “Freakin'” Rollins hits. Out comes Rollins past Punk, who is glaring at him. Rollins essentially ignores Punk and heads to the ring all pumped up.
Rollins then starts off on the mic by saying after all he went through on Saturday, from all of us at WWE, “get well soon!” He says because the sooner he gets better and returns, he can kick his ass. He then turns to the crowd and welcomes us to “Monday Night Rollins.”
Rollins then shifts gears and talks about returning after being out for a couple of months. He says things have gotten crazy in his absence and mentions some things like The Rock returning, Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns teaming up and Kevin Owens punching Cody, the latter of which he claimed he’s “not supposed to talk about.” He tells Bronson Reed he can name the time and place, but this time he’ll see him coming.
WWE Intercontinental Championship
“Main Event” Jey Uso (c) vs. Xavier Woods
The theme song for “Main Event” Jey Uso hits and out comes the WWE Intercontinental Champion to a huge ovation from the St. Louis crowd. He settles in the ring and exchanges a stare with Rollins, who looks none-too-pleased to see him. Rollins simply walks off and Uso finishes his entrance as we head to a commercial break.
When we return, The New Day theme hits and out comes Uso’s opponent, Xavier Woods, accompanied by Kofi Kingston. He settles in the ring as the commentators talk about his change in personality in recent weeks. The bell sounds and we’re officially off-and-running with this one.
We see some brief back-and-forth action, and as Woods begins settling into the early offensive lead with a big slam on the floor, we head into a mid-match commercial break. When we return, Uso picks up the pace and hits a super kick and Uso Splash for the win. Afterwards, Woods won’t shake his hand.
As Woods and Kingston are leaving, out of nowhere, we see Bron Breakker hit the ring and turn Uso inside-out with a spear. Kingston tells Woods they need to go help Uso. Woods says it’s not their business. Kingston goes to help but gets speared.
Woods helps Kingston out of the ring, but Breakker rolls out on the other side, sprints around the ring and blasts Woods with a spear on the floor. Back in the ring, he hits Uso with another spear, holds his I-C title up and throws it at Uso.

Rhea Ripley Reacts To Raquel Rodriguez’s Return
We see footage of Raquel Rodriguez’s surprise return to attack Rhea Ripley and help Liv Morgan retain the WWE Women’s World Championship at WWE Bad Blood 2024 over the weekend. Ripley says in a new video package message that all Liv did was delay the inevitable and earn herself another beating.
As we head into another break, a PFR fire vignette airs again. When we return, we see footage of Breakker’s attack and then Jackie Redmond asks Bron about shaking Uso’s hand only to attack him this week. Breakker walks off without answering her.
Good Ol’ Fashioned Donnybrook Match
Sheamus vs. Pete Dunne
Footage is shown of Paul “Triple H” Levesque unveiling the new WWE Crown Jewel Championship title belt at WWE Bad Blood. We then shoot to the commentators and as Wade Barrett tries bringing up Kevin Owens attacking Cody Rhodes in the parking lot after the PLE on Saturday, Tessitore cuts him off like it’s a topic that cannot be discussed once again.
The X post from Triple H addressing the situation flashes on the screen about it being dealt with internally. Tessitore says they’ll leave it at that. We then see Cody Rhodes walking backstage but the feed cuts out. They reference the technical difficulties and then we are sent into a video package promoting the “Good Ol’ Fashioned Donnybrook” scheduled tonight between Sheamus and Pete Dunne.
Inside the arena we see whiskey barrels, cricket bats and other Irish crap surrounding the ring, as it is now time for this special showdown. The theme for “The Celtic Warrior” hits and Sheamus makes his way out to the ring with a shelaleigh in-hand. As he settles in the ring, we head to a quick pre-match commercial break.
When we return, we see The Miz backstage with Karrion Kross when in comes R-Truth acting like nothing happened last week. Truth tells Miz he’s not in The Judgment Day anymore. Miz says he knows. Truth asks if he did that on purporse. Miz says he did. Truth says their kids play together.
He says he thought they were friends. He says he can make this right. He’s gonna go to Adam Pearce and get Miz a match. Miz gets mad and says that’s the problem. He tells Truth if he wants a match, he’s got one, against him next week. Kross laughs and walks off with Miz.
Inside the arena, Pete Dunne makes his way out and gestures, literally begging fans to do the chant he’s supposed to not want them to do. They sure are having to remind fans a lot to chant Butch at him. No one seems to care, but play along when it gets started up. The bell sounds and these two immediately get after it.
On the floor, Dunne avoids a Brogue Kick from Sheamus, who blasts one of the whiskey barrels. Over by a bar set up near the commentary desk, Dunne stomps on Sheamus’ hands and fingers. He tries splashing off of it onto him, but Sheamus catches him and Donkey Kong’s him off the commentary desk as we head to a mid-match break.
When we return, Sheamus gets his ten beats spot over the ring ropes on the apron, but then as he heads to the top rope, Dunne blasts him with a shalaleigh and connects with a super-plex for a close two-count. On the floor, they climb up a stacked pyramid of whiskey barrels. Sheamus hits ten beats again up there and then hits an absolutely crazy White Noise off them through a pair of tables on the floor. Insanity.
In the ring, Sheamus runs over Dunne and hits a Razor’s Edge for a close two-count. Dunne somehow kicks out. Sheamus’ elbow is bleeding from the table spot. He yells at Dunne that “you asked for this,” but Dunne bends Sheamus’ fingers and blasts him with a cricket bat for a close two-count. Dunne takes a drawer out of the bar and breaks it over Sheamus’ back.
He takes zip-ties from the bar and zip-ties Sheamus’ hands behind his back. Dunne hits Sheamus with a Brogue Kick while Sheamus is on his knees with his hands cuffed behind his back. He covers him but Sheamus kicks out. Dunne grabs the cricket bat but walks into a running knee-lift from Sheamus, who follows up with a Brogue Kick with his hands still cuffed behind him for the pin fall victory. Awesome, awesome match.

Backstage With Cody Rhodes, Sami Zayn & The Judgment Day
Backstage, Cathy Kelley is with Cody Rhodes, who also won’t talk about what happened with Kevin Owens in the parking lot after WWE Bad Blood 2024. He says we’ll probably hear more about it on SmackDown. He says he’s only here tonight to find out what he has to do to win the WWE Crown Jewel Championship.
As he leaves, Sami Zayn stops him and says he just wanted to tell him to his face that he wants to be the one to face him for the WWE Crown Jewel Championship, because he plans to beat GUNTHER tonight. He says he’s known him for years and if he wants to talk about what happened at Bad Blood, but before he can finish, Cody says no he doesn’t want to and he’s only here to find out about the WWE Crown Jewel Championship.
Footage is shown of the Last Monster Standing main event from last week’s show, which concluded with the surprise return of Seth “Freakin'” Rollins. After that, we see the arrival of The Judgment Day in the parking garage. Raquel Rodriguez, Liv Morgan and Dominik Mysterio pop out of a car and Jackie Redmond asks if they want to comment on what happened at Bad Blood.
Liv says she still has the title, Dom, The Judgment Day and Raquel Rodriguez. Jackie asks if Raquel is an official member of The Judgment Day, but Liv cuts her off and they get back in the car and leave. Raquel appears to be driving Liv and Dom around based on how they got into the car. They drive off and we head to a commercial.
Unholy Union & Pure Fusion Collective vs. Natalya, Kayden Carter, Katana Chance, Lyra Valkyria & Zelina Vega
We see Adam Pearce and Ava talking backstage when Ethan Page comes in complaining about CM Punk costing him his WWE NXT Championship. He wants to talk to Pearce about it, but Pearce tells him to talk to Ava. Ava says she’s not on the clock because it’s not Tuesday. Sexxy Red comes in and mocks Page for getting his ass whooped by Trick Williams.
Inside the arena, we hear that a 10-woman tag-team match is coming up next. The Unholy Union duo of Alba Fyre and Isla Dawn come out, followed by the Pure Fusion Collective trio of Sonya Deville, Shayna Baszler and Zoey Stark. Their opponents Natalya, Kayden Carter & Katana Chance, Lyra Valkyria and Zelina Vega make their way out.
The bell sounds and we’re officially off-and-running with this one. We see the ten gals split off into groups of two and battle it out inside and outside of the ring. After things settle and the match gets started, we see Unholy Union and Pure Fusion Collective settle in the early offensive lead as we head into a mid-match break.
When we return, Vega helps shift the offensive momentum into her team’s favor. As things progress, we see the babyface team finish things off with the big “W” after Valkyria hits a big top-rope leg drop on Deville for the pinfall.

WWE World Heavyweight Championship
GUNTHER (c) vs. Sami Zayn
It’s main event time!
We see a video package promoting the Sami Zayn vs. GUNTHER showdown in tonight’s final match of the evening, which features the WWE World Heavyweight Championship on-the-line. Joe Tessitore shows us the WWE Crown Jewel poster, which currently features Cody Rhodes and GUNTHER for the men, but they show another one with Cody Rhodes and Sami Zayn in case Zayn wins.
Inside the arena, Sami Zayn’s theme hits and out comes the challenger for our final match of the evening. As he settles in the ring, we shift gears and head into a quick pre-match commercial break. When we return, WWE Women’s Tag-Team Champions Jade Cargill and Bianca Belair address Damage CTRL’s challenge.
They accept the challenge and say they can run it back next week. WWE promotes “House of Protection’s ‘It’s Supposed To Hurt'” music video for the CM Punk vs. Drew McIntyre Hell In A Cell match on WWE’s YouTube channel on Wednesday. Announced for next week’s Raw is Cargill & Belair vs. IYO SKY & Kairi Sane for the women’s tag titles, as well as Bron Breakker vs. Kofi Kingston.
Back inside the arena, GUNTHER’s theme hits and the reigning, defending WWE World Heavyweight Champion heads to the ring for his latest title defense. The bell sounds and we’re officially off-and-running with this one. We see Zayn start off well, but as GUNTHER starts to take over, we head into a mid-match commercial break.
As we settle back in from the break, Zayn tries firing up for a comeback, but “The Ring General” cuts Zayn’s attempt off quick and stretches him over the ring ropes before blasting him with big European uppercuts. Zayn starts to fight back once again. As he does, we head into another mid-match break.
When we return, we see GUNTHER chopping the hell out of Zayn after taking over control of things once again during the break. The fight spills out to the floor, where Zayn starts fighting back again. GUNTHER tries stopping him and going for a power bomb, but Zayn blocks it and hits a back body drop on the floor.
He follows that up with an exploder into the barricade to the big man. He hits a running Helluva Kick to GUNTHER against the barricade. Zayn rolls GUNTHER back into the ring and plays to the crowd before running and blasting him with another Helluva Kick.
He backs up and runs at him for a third, but GUNTHER meets him with a big lariat that turns him inside-out. He goes for the cover, but Zayn kicks out. GUNTHER goes to pick Zayn up, but Zayn rolls him up for a close two. GUNTHER hits a power bomb and covers him but again Zayn finds a way to kick out.
GUNTHER hits a second power bomb and quickly covers Zayn, but this time Zayn kicks out at the count of one. Zayn looks fired up, but GUNTHER jumps on Zayn’s back and locks in a sleeper-hold. Zayn starts to fade. Zayn nearly fights out of it, but ends up going out. GUNTHER gets the win and retains.
Cody Rhodes’ theme hits and out comes the Undisputed WWE Champion, who meets GUNTHER half way up the ramp and has a stare off with the WWE World Heavyweight Champion as Tessitore and Barrett mention their upcoming showdown for the WWE Crown Jewel Championship at the WWE Crown Jewel 2024 show in November in Saudi Arabia.
