AEW World Champion “The American Dragon” Bryan Danielson recently issued a challenge to Continental Champion “The Rainamker” Kazuchika Okada for a Title vs. Title Match on this week’s 5th anniversary episode of Dynamite.
According to Danielson, it’s been five years since AEW changed the entire wrestling landscape, and he wants to defend his title on the show. He said that he wanted to face Okada, noting that they’re 1 – 1 against each other. Danielson told Okada to show up at Dynamite 5 and they’ll see who’s the best.
AEW has since confirmed that both titles will be on the line, though the Continental Championship will only be on the line for the first 20 minutes.
