The road to WWE Bad Blood 2024 continues tonight in “The Great White North.”
WWE Monday Night Raw returns tonight at 8/7c on USA Network from the Toyota Arena in Ontario, California.
On tap for tonight’s show is Bron Breakker vs. “Main Event” Jey Uso for the WWE Intercontinental Championship, as well as Sami Zayn vs. Ludwig Kaiser in one-on-one action.
Additionally, the second-to-last episode of the weekly three-hour red brand prime time Monday night program this evening will feature the return of “The Scottish Warrior” Drew McIntyre.

WWE RAW RESULTS – SEPTEMBER 23, 2024
This week’s show opens up with Joe Tessitore and Wade Barrett narrating arrival shots of various Superstars, when out of nowhere, during them we see Bronson Reed attack Braun Strowman, picking things up right where they left off with those two last week on the show.
Liv Morgan, Dominik Mysterio & Rhea Ripley Kick Off This Week’s Show
Holding hands we see Liv Morgan and Dominik Mysterio walk past the carnage ensuing between Reed and Strowman. The camera follows them as Liv’s theme hits. The two head to the ring to a ton of boos to start off the show.
She talks about the two having a victory lap. She introduces a video to boast the Liv Morgan Revenge Tour going exactly as she planned. We return live and Liv says she did everything she said. She said she would take everything from Rhea Ripley, and she did.
She took her title, The Judgment Day and her “Daddy” Dominik Mysterio. The theme for Rhea Ripley hits to cut her off. Out comes “Mami” to a huge pop from the California crowd.
Ripley settles in the ring. Dom tries to stand between she and Liv, but Rhea warns him to move or she’ll knock him out. Liv tells her to calm down. She taunts Ripley some more and says she bets Ripley’s not medically cleared because of her knee.
Rhea says she is cleared and says because Dom is the only reason Liv won her title in the first place, Adam Pearce has decided something, Dom is going to be exactly where he deserves to be at WWE Bad Blood — behind bars. Because Dom is going to be hanging in a shark cage above the ring for their women’s title tilt.
After promising she wouldn’t touch Liv while coming to the ring, Rhea closes the segment by admitting she was being a liar when she said that. With that said, she blasts Liv in the face with a vicious headbutt, Kurt Angle and Samoa Joe style.
Sami Zayn vs. Ludwig Kaiser
Sami Zayn’s theme hits and out he comes to a big pop from the Ontario crowd as he settles in the ring for the first match of the evening. As he does, Tessitore talks us into our first commercial break of the show.
When we return, the Imperium theme hits and out comes Ludwig Kaiser to go one-on-one against Zayn in their first-ever singles showdown on Raw. The bell sounds and we’re officially off-and-running with this one.
Zayn throws his ring jacket into Kaiser’s face. Kaiser angrily kicks it away. They circle the ring before Zayn jabs him. They lock up, and Kaiser powers Zayn to the corner. Kaiser punches away at Zayn in the corner, but Zayn fights out.
Zayn bounces Kaiser off the top turnbuckle and stomps him down until Kaiser rolls out of the ring to recover. Zayn goes outside to meet him, but Kaiser cuts him off and sends him headfirst into the ring post. Kaiser talks trash and punches him in the forehead.
Kaiser whips Zayn into the ring steps and gets him back in the ring. Kaiser hits the ropes and kicks Zayn in the chest for a two-count. Zayn slowly gets to his knees, so Kaiser sends him to the corner and hangs him over the second rope.
Kaiser hits the ropes and dropkicks an upside-down Zayn. Zayn fights back and comes off the middle rope with a diving ax handle. Zayn then clotheslines Kaiser over the top rope. Kaiser gets to his feet at ringside, so Zayn exits the ring and chops the chest.
Kaiser reverses a whip to the barricade, but Zayn leaps to the top. Zayn nearly loses his balance, so Kaiser shoves him off headfirst into the timekeeper’s chair. On that note, we shift gears and head into a mid-match commercial break.
When we return, we see Zayn now in a dominant offensive lead, but when the action spills out to the floor, we see Kasier slam Zayn into the ring steps with authority. Zayn just barely makes it back in the ring before the count of ten. Kaiser immediately goes to work on him.
As the action continues, Zayn fires back up and takes back over and ultimately connects with his finisher to pick up the hard-earned victory. Afterwards, GUNTHER’s theme hits and the WWE World Heavyweight Champion comes out. He teases giving Zayn his title shot finally, but still says “No.”

Dragon Lee vs. Carlito
Backstage, we see Xavier Woods lost in thought after a video package airs showing all of the developments within The New Day duo in recent weeks. Kofi Kingston comes up and the two try to both apologize to each other.
They say it’s water under the bridge and agree they need to get New Day back on track before their ten-year anniversary in November. Kingston pulls out some Booty O’s cereal from the archives and gets goofy, but Woods tells him they need to get more serious.
American Made approaches them and taunts them and this leads to a match for later in the show. Someone ran up with a giant tray of pancakes, but Kingston waves it off before Woods sees it, so he doesn’t see more non-serious stuff. The crowd laughs in the background and we head to a commercial break.
When we return, we see an in-depth “YEET!” music video package for “Main Event” Jey Uso and Bron Breakker’s main event later tonight for the WWE Intercontinental Championship.
Backstage, Liv and Dom are bickering with Adam Pearce about the shark cage stipulation for WWE Bad Blood. Pearce says it’s final. Dom calls him Mr. Potato Head. Carlito and JD McDonagh walks up. Carlito says tonight he’s taking out Dragon Lee — and that, is cool.
The Judgment Day walks on and bump into Ilja Dragunov. McDonagh gets in Dragunov’s face. Dragunov says he won’t do anything. McDonagh says The Judgment Day are busy this week, but he’ll see him around. Dragunov tells them to get walking. They do.
The theme for Dragon Lee hits and out comes the LWO member for our next match of the evening. He has the LWO trio of Cruz Del Toro, Joaquin Wilde and Zelina Vega. As he settles in the ring, we shift gears and head into a quick pre-match commercial break.
When we return, Carlito comes out with The Judgment Day and the bell sounds. After Dragon Lee hits a big dive to the floor to start things off with a bang, we see some back-and-forth action until The Judgment Day crew gets involved. Rey Mysterio runs out and evens the numbers game, leading to Lee getting the win.

The Miz vs. “Big” Bronson Reed
Backstage, we see The Miz in his ring gear bouncing up and down and getting warmed up before his match tonight. In comes Karrion Kross, which prompts Miz to tell him he doesn’t have time for whatever this is, because he’s got Bronson Reed tonight.
Kross tells him he doesn’t understand why Miz isn’t respected more. Miz says thank you but then asks Kross what his angle is. Kross makes a tease and then we head to a commercial break. When we return, Tessitore points out a bunch of Netflix executives in the crowd.
Backstage, Cathy Kelly is standing by with Sheamus. Sheamus is holding a cane or shelaleigh or some kind of solid object. Now Sheamus sets the fans up for a “Call him Butch!” chant after boasting being at the NFL game between the Titans and Packers over the weekend.
Inside the arena, Miz’s theme hits and out he comes for our next match of the evening. Bronson Reed comes out next, but before the match can get started, Braun Strowman comes out and the brawl between he and Reed continues. Miz gets in Strowman’s face and yells, but Reed dives through the ropes and splashes onto them both on the floor.
Reed and Strowman then proceed to take out tons of security guards with Tsunami splashes, chokeslams, running power slams and every other big-guy offensive move you can think of. Adam Pearce, meanwhile, is flipping out at ringside as the two continue beating down security guards and each other. We head to another break.

Drew McIntyre Responds To CM Punk & Talks Hell In A Cell
We return to cameo appearances by Mark Sanchez and Adam Jones of the band Tool in the crowd. The theme for Drew McIntyre hits and out comes “The Scottish Warrior.”
He settles in the ring and quotes some of the things CM Punk said last week when referencing their Hell In A Cell match at WWE Bad Blood.
McIntyre talks about Punk’s wife telling him not to go into Hell In A Cell. McIntyre says his wife told him too to get far away from Punk. He says if he’s being honest, he doesn’t want to step into Hell In A Cell, but he’s going to and he’s going to end him.
Unholy Union vs. Damage CTRL
Backstage, Adam Pearce is interviewed and announces a Last Monster Standing match between Bronson Reed and Braun Strowman for next week’s Raw. He then notices Pete Dunne beating down Sheamus with a foreign object and tries getting his people to break it up.
We head inside the arena and out comes Unholy Union duo Alba Fyre and Isla Dawn. As they settle in the ring, we see Damage CTRL being confronted backstage by WWE Women’s Tag-Team Champions Jade Cargill and Bianca Belair.
After their brief verbal back-and-forth, Damage CTRL duo IYO SKY and Kairi Sane head to the ring for women’s tag-team action in our next match of the evening. SKY and Dawn kick things off for their respective teams.
SKY takes the early offensive lead and tags in Sane. The two hit a double-team spot and then Fyre tags in for her team. Sane continues to dominate the offense regardless. As Fyre and Dawn take over, we head into a mid-match commercial break.
When we return, we see things pick up a bit, and ultimately things culminate with SKY and Sane hitting back-to-back high spots to pick up the pinfall victory.

New Day vs. American Made
Backstage, Cathy Kelley is standing by with WWE Intercontinental Champion Bron Breakker. He says the dogs are barking in Ontario tonight. We hear the fans barking in the arena in the background.
He tells “Main Event” Jey Uso someone is getting their ass kicked tonight, and it’s not going to be him. He says he’s going to hold onto the IC title for a long time. We head to another commercial break on that note.
The entire Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns Georgia Tech video segment from Friday’s SmackDown airs when we return. After that, “Main Event” Jey Uso is shown bouncing up and down in the back, preparing for his big IC title opportunity later tonight.
Sami Zayn walks up and gives Uso a pep talk to get him fired up. Back inside the arena, we see New Day in the middle of finishing up their ring entrance, already in progress. American Made are already out there. The bell sounds and Julius and Xavier kick things off for their respective teams.
We see some back-and-forth action and then head into a commercial break. When we return, we see Kingston and Woods fight to the point of nearly picking up the victory, only for Brutus to hit the Brutus ball off of Julius’ shoulders for the win.

WWE Intercontinental Championship
Bron Breakker (c) vs. “Main Event” Jey Uso
It’s main event time!
But first, we shoot to a Damian Priest vignette, who rips off the movie “New Jack City” by basing his whole promo around a saying in his neighborhood growing up. That saying? “Am I my brother’s keeper?” He talks about his battle with Finn Balor at WWE Bad Blood 2024.
After that, we head to another commercial break, but first, a new Wyatt Sicks vignette airs, which concludes with their latest QR code. I’m sure we’ll have a full breakdown on what that all points to later.
When we return, a Pure Fusion Collective vignette airs with Sonya Deville, Shayna Baszler and Zoey Stark talking trash about the women’s division. Backstage, Rey Mysterio announces a match against Finn Balor for next week’s show in a segment where he and Xavier Woods have a tense back-and-forth.
Mysterio then says Finn can wait and tells Woods next week he’s got his fight. Now it appears to be Xavier Woods vs. Rey Mysterio for next week. Kingston tells Woods none of that was necessary. Woods claps back verbally as they walk-and-talk off-camera.
“Main Event” Jey Uso is seen in a mob of fans being held back by security, looking like a Backstreet Boy in Times Square during the peak of TRL on MTV. Fans mob him as he tries cutting a promo, but they are so loud we can’t hear a word on the broadcast, except for the end where he says, “Now hit my music …YEET!”
His music hits and the crowd inside the arena explodes as loud as the mob of fans we just saw swarming the king of “YEET!” backstage at the Toyota Arena. “Main Event” Jey Uso heads to the ring through the crowd, leading them in a giant wave, as he prepares for his big WWE Intercontinental Championship opportunity in our main event.
As Uso settles inside the squared circle for our final match of the evening, we shift gears and head into a quick pre-match commercial break. When we return, Braun Strowman vs. Bronson Reed in a Last Monster Standing match, Kofi Kingston vs. Chad Gable and Xavier Woods vs. Rey Mysterio is announced for next week’s Raw.
Bron Breakker’s theme hits, the dogs get barking, and out comes the WWE Intercontinental Champion for his latest title defense in our WWE Raw main event for this week. The bell sounds and we’re officially off-and-running with this one.
Uso grabs a waist-lock before transitioning to a side headlock. Breakker whips him off and shoulder tackles him down. The dogs are barking. Breakker looks across the ring at Uso, who is holding his shoulder. Uso grabs another waist-lock before going to the side headlock.
Breakker sends him to the corner, but Uso slingshots over him and rocks him with an uppercut. Breakker is stumbling and falls out of the ring. Uso takes out the Intercontinental Champion with a suicide dive and gets in the ring to hear the YEET chants!
On that note, we shift gears and head into a mid-match commercial break as this high stakes title tilt continues. When we return, we see some more back-and-forth action that peaks with Breakker hitting a leaping bulldog off the ring apron to Uso on the commentary desk.
From there, we head into what will likely be the final commercial time out of the evening. The main event continues. When we return, we see Uso fighting from underneath. He hits a big pop-up Samoan Drop to shift the momentum back in his favor.
Uso heads to the top-rope looking for an Uso Splash to finish things off, but Breakker pops up and stops him. Breakker hits a quick sprint up the ropes to connect with a top-rope Frankensteiner. Or Breakkersteiner, as Pat McAfee would say. Fans chant “This is Awersome” after Uso kicks out of the follow-up pin attempt.
Uso hits a spear that cuts off a spear attempt by Breakker. He goes for the top-rope. He leaps and connects with an Uso Splash. He gets on top of Breakker for the cover. 1-2-3. We have ourselves a brand new WWE Intercontinental Champion. And he’s the master of YEET! He is “Main Event” Jey Uso.
