Tony Khan recently appeared as a guest on Sirius XM’s “Busted Open Radio” for an in-depth interview covering all things pro wrestling and AEW.
During the discussion, the AEW and ROH President was asked to explain his decision to put the first Will Ospreay vs. Ricochet match in AEW on free television.
“That’s why I think it makes perfect sense with these big stages,” Khan stated. “We have the greatest roster ever.”
He continued, “There is an unlimited supply of huge matches. These are matches that have been building since the people arrived at AEW.”
Will Ospreay vs. Ricochet is scheduled to take place on the fifth anniversary special edition of AEW Dynamite on October 2, 2024.
