Trish Stratus continues to hint at returning for another match.
Stratus returned in early 2023 for a feud with Damage CTRL, where she sided with Lita and Becky Lynch. That resulted in Stratus turning heel, attacking Lynch, and teaming up with Zoey Stark, who defeated Lynch in a steel cage match at the WWE Payback 2023 premium live event, effectively ending his run.
Stratus hosted the Money in the Bank Premium Live Event in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, earlier this summer, and appeared on a backstage segment with Tiffany Stratton. Hours later, at the post-event press conference, Stratton addressed a potential match with Stratus, saying she was prepared to face the veteran.
The WWE Hall of Famer stated that she believed she had checked off some boxes during her last run. She added that if she thought she could add a few more by returning for the Stratton match, she would consider it.
At Comic-Con Northern Ireland 2024, Stratus was asked who she would like to wrestle. Stratus stated, “Becky Lynch. Oh wait, we did that already. From the current landscape, you’re saying? What time is it? Is it Tiffy Time? I mean, she’s a little bit arrogant, and I think it’d be interesting to show her what it’s all about from someone back in the day. Maybe Tiffany Stratton.”
