Thursday night’s TNA Victory Road go-home episode of iMPACT on AXS TV saw Steve Maclin defeat Hammerstone in the opening match of the evening. Immediately following the match, Hammerstone brutally attacked Maclin until Eric Young made his way down to the ring to make the save. Jake Something then made his way out to join Hammerstone for a two-on-two stare-down with Young and Maclin.
Later in the broadcast, Maclin and Young issued a challenge to Hammerstone and Something for a tag team match at Victory Road and it was made official for the Countdown to TNA Victory Road Pre-Show.
It was also announced that The Hardys (Matt Hardy and Jeff Hardy) will battle First Class (AJ Francis and KC Navarro) in a tag team match and KUSHIDA will face Leon Slater in a singles match on the pre-show.
TNA Victory Road 2024 is set to take place later tonight, September 13 from the Boeing Center at Tech Port in San Antonio, Texas.
