Stephanie Vaquer Addresses Fans About Missing WWE NXT: No Mercy

WWE NXT held its No Mercy PLE on Sunday night, which included Gilua’s promotional debut. The former STARDOM/Marigold star is one of three recent international stars to sign with WWE, alongside Delta and Stephanie Vaquer.

Vaquer, whose real name is Ana Stephanie Vaquer González, left CMLL and NJPW for WWE after receiving interest from AEW. The promotion reportedly made her a significant offer to sign.

As a result, she cancelled her scheduled appearances and was stripped of the CMLL World and Tag Team Titles. CMLL and NJPW were not happy with how Vaquer handled her departure. Vaquer was on WWE’s radar after losing the NJPW Strong Women’s Championship to Mercedes Mone at Forbidden Door in June.

In July, she worked a loop of WWE house shows in Mexico. Stephanie has not wrestled since then. Following No Mercy, fans wondered why Stephanie didn’t make her debut on the show. Vaquer saw the posts and responded to them on Twitter, writing:

“Good things take time to come for those who know how to wait.”
