Backstage News On Bryan Danielson’s Contract Status With AEW

Top AEW star “The American Dragon” Bryan Danielson announced on the July 31 episode of Dynamite that his contract with the company was set to expire on August 1, but he had already found his way to the main event of All In: London at that point by defeating “Hangman” Adam Page in the finals of the Owen Hart Foundation Men’s Tournament.

According to Fightful Select, Danielson has not signed any sort of extension with AEW, nor has he re-signed any full-time or per appearance type of deal with the company, meaning he is currently working for AEW without a contract.

Danielson said back in 2023 that this will be his final year as a full-time in-ring competitor. He is set to challenge reigning AEW World Champion Swerve Strickland for his title at All In, where he will put his legendary pro wrestling career on the line.
