WWE Hall of Famer “The Enforcer” Arn Anderson recently appeared on an episode of his ARN podcast, where he discussed a number of topics including the greatest singles match of his career.

Anderson said, “I was always a tag guy. Pretty much, other than the TV title matches. You know, I kind of liked the TV Title when I first came back. Muta was the TV champion when I first came back from WWE. And I had a Television Title match. went about 15 minutes or so. But I thought it was a good match, thought it was a very good match, as a matter of fact. And I was lucky enough to win the title off of Muta, who was a big star.”

On his favorite people to work with for singles matches:

“Any match with Bobby Eaton is gonna be good. He was just that good, you know? He made everything better that he touched. William Regal, I love that European style. I love the lifters, I love the different hooks and holds, and maneuvering his way in and out of things. And putting you — all of a sudden, you’re looking at him one minute and you’re looking at your butt the next minute. That European style is awesome. So yeah, that’s a couple of guys. I had some good single matches with Steve Austin.”

On his top three tag team partners:

“Tully (Blanchard) has to be number one. Ole (Anderson), just because I learned so much from him. And the one thing that I took from watching Ole work and being his partner is, he made a guy earn everything he got with him. You weren’t gonna knock him down with one punch or one kick. You had to work and I learned from him. And Bobby Eaton, just because he was my best friend, I love the guy, and he was such a pro.”
