Hurt Business vs. Bloodline had been a dream match given the two factions’ dominance during the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020 and 2021. Hurt Business led the charge on Monday Night Raw, while the other heel faction competed on SmackDown.

Bobby Lashley, MVP, Shelton Benjamin, and Cedric Alexander had a brief partnership from 2020-2022, but they left an indelible impression on fans and are remembered as one of the highlights of this dark period. The Bloodline continues to thrive with new members, having previously been led by Roman Reigns, Solo Sikoa, and The Usos.

During an interview with Metro, Benjamin discussed how the group helped everyone involved and elevated themselves.

He said, “And I think the fact that there was no Hurt Business versus Bloodline war is one of the biggest mishaps in pro wrestling.”

MVP has gone on record via Instagram, stating that he attempted to reunite the group before Benjamin was let go. However, Triple H was not interested in reuniting the Hurt Business.
