WWE Money In The Bank 2024 Preview And Predictions

We are at that time of the year again! It’s WWE’s Money In The Bank 2024. It’s time for one WWE male and female superstar to change their fate by climbing up that ladder and retrieving the briefcase.

WWE Money In The Bank 2024 will air live this Saturday from the Scotiabank Arena in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, and will stream live at 7 p.m. ET/4 p.m. PT on Peacock in the United States and on WWE Network everywhere else.

Let’s look at the current matches on the card and my predictions for who will win at the PLE.

Cody Rhodes, Kevin Owens & Randy Orton vs. The Bloodline

While Roman Reigns may show up at MITB to confront Solo and the New Bloodline, all signs point to a Rhodes Vs. Sikoa match for the WWE Universal Title at Summerslam. This scenario seems like the more appropriate time for Reigns to come down and confront Solo, costing him the title.

There is no doubt Roman Vs. Solo and New Bloodline Vs. Original Bloodline is the long-term booking WWE is planning. However, it feels too early to kick off this feud here.

I see the Bloodline picking up the win here, as the numbers game will ultimately be too much for Rhodes, Orton, and Owens.

Pick: The Bloodline defeats Cody Rhodes, Kevin Owens, & Randy Orton.

Intercontinental Championship Match: Sami Zayn (c) vs. Bron Breakker

I never believed Zayn’s title run would be long. He doesn’t need one, as he is over and relevant with or without a title.

While it will disappoint the fans in Canada that Zayn will lose here, this seems like the way WWE is going to go. It makes sense being Breakker has been pushed as an unstoppable force since joining the main roster. Anything other than a win here would severely hurt his momentum.

I look for Zayn to fight and continue to battle in this match with the crowd behind him until he absolutely cannot battle anymore!

Pick: Bron Breakker beats Sami Zayn and becomes new IC Champ.

Women’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match: Iyo Sky vs. Chelsea Green vs. Lyra Valkyria vs. Tiffany Stratton vs. Naomi vs. Zoey Stark

To me, this match is about one person, and that is Tiffany Stratton. Sure, you can make an argument for any of these women to win the briefcase, but it just feels like it’s her match to lose.

Regardless of anyone’s personal feelings about Stratton, WWE has been very high on her and has worked carefully to push her. This match and her winning the briefcase will elevate her further.

Chelsea Green winning this match would be a feel-good moment for her and the WWE universe. I wouldn’t mind it either. However, looking at the long term, I believe it’s TIFFY TIME!

Pick: Tiffany Stratton wins the MITB Ladder Match.

Men’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match: Jey Uso vs. Carmelo Hayes vs. Andrade vs. Chad Gable vs. LA Knight vs. Drew McIntyre

I am torn in this match between Jey Uso and Drew McIntyre winning this match and the briefcase.

A win here for Jey will take him to the next level on his quest to win his first solo WWE Championship and solidify him as a main-event player.

On the other hand, Drew McIntyre winning the MITB briefcase and having this looming over the championship match between Priest & Rollins makes sense, too.

While Jey Uso will ultimately be back in the Bloodline storyline when Roman comes back, that will likely still be a ways away. Whereas a match between McIntyre and Punk is all but confirmed for Summerslam in August.

I’m looking for CM Punk to come down and get involved in this match with Drew as payback for being sent to the hospital on Smackdown in Chicago a few weeks back. That will set up the anticipated match between the two at Summerslam.

While it could go either way, I believe Jey Uso will be the one left at the top of the ladder holding the briefcase.

Pick: Jey Uso wins the MITB Ladder Match

World Heavyweight Championship Match: Damian Priest (c) vs. Seth Rollins

A part of me wants to say that Rollins takes the title off of Priest here, but I do not think that will happen.

Priest has been having his issues with the Judgement Day, and that all eventually will come to a head; however, I don’t see that happening or Priest losing here.

Instead, I believe this match is designed to continue his reign as champion and carry him into Summerslam, where he will ultimately drop the belt to GUNTHER.

Rollins will always be relevant and in the main event picture, so a loss here wouldn’t hurt him. That’s why I’m picking Damien Priest to be victorious.

Pick: Damien Priest retains his championship against Seth Rollins.
