“The Hart Foundation” name has tons of history in the pro wrestling industry as it is associated with the legendary wrestling family and their storied legacy within the WWE. The Hart Foundation, which is comprised of WWE Hall of Famer Bret “The Hitman” Hart and Jim “The Anvil” Neidhart, left an indelible mark on the industry during the 1980s and 1990s.
WWE filed to trademark “The Hart Foundation” ring name on June 13 and requested a 90-day extension to contest MLW’s registration of “The Hart Foundation” trademark. This extension was granted, giving WWE until September 11 to file their opposition.
