Both Bryan Idol and Natalia Markova have signed a multi-year deal with the NWA.
Idol will become the company’s official national promoter while continuing as an on-screen performer. This is Markova’s first contract with a company since coming to the U.S.
Both Idol and Markova issued a statement on re-signing with the NWA, which you can check out below:
Idol said, “We have an amazing thing going here at the NWA. I am always looking for new ways to help the company grow with the live events and I’m happy to say I will leave no stone un-turned and in doing so, I will listen to any and all options so that I can do my best to put the company in the absolute best position possible to succeed. As a Wrestler for the NWA, I’m very proud of what I have accomplished there. I have had some very big time matches against some of the biggest names in wrestling and I will continue to uphold the history legacy and tradition that has always made the NWA unique from the rest. I would also like to say that we have a great team and personally, I am so beyond impressed with the leadership of the company owner William Patrick Corgan. I want to publicly thank him for the opportunity and putting his trust in me. The future of the NWA is very bright.”
Markova said, “I feel like the NWA is truly my home. It’s the best locker room I have ever worked with. Billy Corgan is the best boss imaginable. I think we have a very good understanding between each other when it comes to what the vision of the company is both creatively and wrestling wise! I’m looking forward to the future and excited to be a part of the NWA and to get continue to entertain all of the fans who watch and support us!”
