All Elite Wrestling announced during Wednesday night’s episode of Dynamite that AEW TBS Champion Mercedes Moné will face NJPW STRONG Women’s Openweight Champion Stephanie Vaquer in a Title vs. Title Matchup at their upcoming Forbidden Door 2024 event.
Later in the broadcast, it was revealed that AEW Women’s World Champion “Timeless” Toni Storm will defend her championship against STARDOM star Mina Shirakawa.
AEW and NJPW’s Forbidden Door 2024 is set to take place on Sunday, June 30th from the UBS Arena in Long Island, New York.
