WWE Raw Review – April 22, 2024
Kicking off this week’s Raw with Michael Cole & Pat McAfee stood in the ring and spoke about the Battle Royal that would determine the new Women’s World Champion.

World Heavyweight Champion Damian Priest’s music hits and he makes his way down to the ring. He tells Jey to take it easy and says he just wants to talk. He says Jey’s presentation and vibe suits him then recalls the two of them going to war last year. He says there was one night Jey beat him down so bad that he went over to him in the locker room and earned his respect. He explains that’s why he wanted him to join Judgment Day and he invited him to drinks. He says he may not remember much from that night but he does remember Jey telling him that they were next. He says he’s standing with Jey proud to say that he was right but only half right because he was next and not Jey. He says the title he holds is proof of why he’s now. He says Jey is the 1st of many to show why Priest’s title looks good on him and although he’ll be the 1st to fall, he’ll be the first to lead the people in rising for him.
Priest looks to leave the ring but Jey stops him. He asks if all Priest sees him as is just another tag team guy and says that’s strong talk coming from the leader of Judgment Day. He says the only reason Priest is the leader is because Rhea Ripley is out with an injury then says Priest is getting fed to him because he’s next. He says he’ll be the next World Heavyweight Champion and stares down Priest.
JD McDonagh looks to blindside Jey but Jey sees him coming and superkicks Priest. McDonagh looks on in shock as Priest looks back at McDonagh with fury in his eyes.
