WWE NXT Stand & Deliver Review – April 6, 2024
Shawn Spears vs Joe Gacy (Pre Show)
Ridge Holland clocks Gacy with a chair on the ramp before he storms to the back having had talked to Megan Morant & Sam Roberts just prior.
The bell rings and Gacy sends Spears crashing out of the ring then levels him with a tope suicida then gets him back in the ring and ascends to the top rope.
Spears pulls him down with a suplex then connects with a backbreaker and follows it up with a chop.
Gacy hits one of his own and they then take turns exchanging chops with one another.
Spears locks in a Boston Crab on Gacy but Gacy makes it to the bottom rope to escape.
Gacy hits a crossbody off the ropes then follows it up with a back suplex.
He hits a series of right hands and a boot to Spears’ face before he lands a German suplex and a springboard moonsault. He goes for a pin but Spears kicks out.
Spears drapes Gacy from the top rope on the outside and hits a boot to his chest then sends him crashing into the ring apron.
He hits a hanging DDT off the top rope to get him back in the ring and goes for a pin but Gacy kicks out.
Gacy hits a Uranage to Spears and goes for a pin of his own but Spears kicks out.
Gacy looks to land a senton on Spears on the apron but Spears moves out of the way.
Gacy then looks to fly but Spears moves out of the way and lands a Pedigree on him.
Spears follows it up with a superkick but Gacy lands a pair of right hands.
He looks to land The Upside Down but Spears ducks out of the way.
Spears then sets up for C4 but Gacy slips off his shoulders and hits Upside Down for the win.

NXT Tag Team Titles Match
The Wolf Dogs (Bron Breakker & Baron Corbin) (c) vs. Nathan Frazer & Axiom
Axiom & Nathan Frazer attacks The Wolf Dogs on the ramp as they fly to take them out.
Axiom then hits a moonsault off the top to both men then they get Bron Breakker inside the ring and the bell sounds.
Axiom hits a crossbody off the top rope then connects with a dropkick before Frazer & Baron Corbin tag in and Frazer hits a DDT to Corbin.
Frazer responds with an enzuigiri then tags Axiom back in then Axiom & Frazer hits a double superkick before Axiom hits a shoulder to Corbin’s midsection and an enzuigiri to Breakker on the apron.
Corbin hits Axiom with a Death Valley Driver and a vertical suplex.
Breakker turns Axiom inside out with a clothesline running the ropes for extra momentum.
Corbin tags back in and lands a pair of right hands then follows it up with a knee to Axiom’s midsection and tags in Breakker.
Breakker then levels Axiom but Axiom responds with a pair of chops.
Breakker lands a knee but Axiom catches him with a Spanish Fly.
Corbin & Frazer tag in and Frazer hits a missile dropkick off the top rope.
He looks to follow it up with a springboard moonsault but Corbin catches him and looks to deliver a cutter.
Frazer counters into a reverse DDT and a running moonsault then ascends to the top and looks to deliver a Phoenix Splash.
Corbin avoids it and plants Frazer then tags in Breakker.
Axiom nails Breakker with a dropkick and ascends to the middle rope.
Breakker pulls Axiom down with a hurricanrana and Corbin plants him mid air.
Axiom & Breakker exchange strikes in the middle of the ring before Axiom hits a German suplex on Breakker.
Frazer connects with an enzuigiri on Corbin & Breakker hits a gutbuster to Frazer.
He ascends to the top rope but Axiom rocks him with an enzuigiri.
Frazer tags in, and Axiom delivers a Spanish Fly off the top rope to Breakker.
Frazer follows it up with a Phoenix Splash and goes for a pin but Breakker kicks out.
Corbin sends Axiom crashing into the mat as Breakker sends Frazer crashing off the top rope.
Corbin then ascends to the top and hits a splash then goes for a pin but Frazer kicks out.
Frazer rolls out of the ring and Breakker looks to hit a Spear to him but Axiom pulls Frazer out of the ring and Breakker is sent crashing into the ring steps.
Corbin sends Axiom & Frazer crashing over the announce table but they quickly recover and take him down then they get him back in the ring and Frazer tags in.
Axiom hits Golden Ratio and Frazer follows it up with a Phoenix Splash then goes for a pin but Corbin kicks out.
Axiom nails Breakker with a kick and a superkick and looks to plant Corbin with a Tornado DDT. Corbin counters and sends Axiom crashing into the mat with the End Of Days.
He looks to land the move on Frazer but Frazer escapes as Breakker surprises him with a Spear for the win.
Winners & Still NXT Tag Team Champions: The Wolf Dogs (11:23) (STILL CHAMPION!!!)

We then head backstage to Meta 4 and see Noam Dar give Oro Mensah his moment as a host outside of Oba Femi’s locker room. Femi storms out of his locker room and takes out Mensah with the door.
North American Title Triple Threat Match
Oba Femi (c) vs Josh Briggs vs Dijak
Oba Femi clotheslines Briggs out of the ring before Briggs lands an elbow strike on him then looks to deliver a boot to his midsection with Dijak.
Femi catches both their boots and sends them crashing into the mat but they manage to land double boots on his head.
They work together to deliver a series of strikes to Femi then send him crashing out of the ring. Dijak nails Briggs with a superkick on the ring apron and looks to fly.
Femi catches him and Briggs attempts to fly to level them both.
Femi uses Dijak to take Briggs out mid air and sends Dijak crashing on top of him.
Femi then tosses one of the chairs from the announce desk on top of Briggs.
Dijak fires off forearm strikes on him and superkicks him on the chair then ascends to the top. Briggs pulls him off and chokeslams him on top of Femi.
Briggs gets Femi back in the ring and hits a pair of boots to his jaw. He looks to fly off the middle rope but Femi levels him mid air.
Briggs looks to hit a chokeslam but Femi prevents him from doing so.
Dijak & Briggs then hit a double chokeslam to Femi and both pin him but Femi kicks out.
Dijak & Briggs then fire off right hands on his spine but Femi catches them both with a double chokeslam. He finds himself on the apron with Dijak and they exchange strikes.
Briggs sends Femi crashing on top of the apron then intercepts a flying Dijak with a boot to his face back inside the ring.
Briggs ascends up the ropes but Femi joins him up there. Dijak hits a superkick to them that sends Femi crashing to the outside then joins Briggs on the top.
Briggs flips Dijak inside out with a clothesline from off the top and goes for a pin but Dijak gets his boot on the middle rope to break the fall.
Briggs then fires off strikes on Femi but Dijak delivers a series of chops to both men.
Briggs hits elbows to Femi & Dijak but Femi hits a double chop to Femi & Dijak.
All 3 men continue to brawl before Dijak delivers a boot to Briggs and goes for a pin.
Briggs kicks out and Dijak rains down chops on his chest.
Briggs hits a clothesline to Dijak’s spine and fires off chops on him in the corner but Dijak levels him with a sit out chokeslam and goes for a pin.
Briggs kicks out and looks to plant Dijak but Dijak counters into a Canadian Destroyer and goes for a pin but Briggs kicks out once again.
Dijak gets Briggs up on his shoulders and ascends to the top rope.
Femi gets both men in an electric chair position and sends them both crashing into the mat with a Death Valley Driver. He pins Briggs but Dijak breaks the fall.
Dijak connects with a pair of boots on Femi’s jaw then hits a spinning boot and gets him up on his shoulders.
He connects with Feast Your Eyes and goes for a pin but Briggs hits a moonsault off the top rope to break the fall.
Dijak levels him with a boot then hits Feast Your Eyes on Femi a 2nd time and goes for a pin.
Briggs pulls the referee out of the ring to keep him from counting the fall before Dijak flies over the top to level him.
He sends Femi colliding with the ring post and Briggs sends him crashing through the barricade near the timekeeper’s area.
Dijak looks to hit Feast Your Eyes on Briggs but Briggs catches his knee.
Dijak then gets Briggs back inside the ring and hits a 2nd Feast Your Eyes to him.
He goes for a pin but Femi grabs Dijak to break the fall and powerbombs him on top of Briggs then pins Briggs for the win.
Winner & Still North American Champion: Oba Femi (15:00) (STILL CHAMPION!!!)

We then head backstage and see Meta 4 looking to get a word in with Kelani Jordan, Fallon Henley & Thea Hail. Duke Hudson tells him that he doesn’t think it’s a good idea but Dar still proceeds to ask her if she really thought Jacy Jayne was ever her friend. Hail looks to attack him but Jordan, Henley & the rest of Chase U hold her back.
6 Woman Tag Team Match
Jacy Jayne, Kiana James & Izzi Dame vs. Fallon Henley, Kelani Jordan & Thea Hail
Jacy Jayne, Kiana James & Izzi Dame attacks Fallon Henley, Kelani Jordan & Thea Hail as they pose.
Jayne sends Hail crashing into the ring apron spine first, and Henley is dumped into the ring. The bell sounds and Dame hits a backbreaker to Henley.
James tags in and hits a stomp to Henley’s midsection then follows it up with a boot to her head. Jayne tags in and looks to plant Henley but Jordan saves her.
Hail tags in and hits a crossbody to Dame off the top rope.
Jordan flies to level Dame on the outside and Hail dumps Jayne out of the ring on the other side.
She looks to fly but accidentally lands on Riley Osborne after Jayne moves out of the way.
Jayne gets Hail back in the ring before James tags in and fires off shoulders on Hail’s midsection in the corner. Dame tags in and charges at Hail.
Hail moves out of the way before Dame looks to plant her.
Hail avoids it and connects with a neckbreaker then tags in Jordan as Dame tags in Jayne.
Jordan hits a pair of back elbows to Jayne and a dropkick to Dame on the apron.
She then sends Jayne crashing into the mat and ascends to the top rope but Dame pushes her off while James distracts the referee.
Dame sends Jordan’s head repeatedly crashing into the mat, then delivers an elbow drop to her. She catapults Jordan into the corner then tags in James.
James hits a series of shoulders to Jordan in the corner before Jayne tags in and hits a cannonball. James tags back in and levels Jordan.
She locks in an Abdominal Stretch then hits a right hand to her. Jordan rolls James up but James kicks out. James hits a stomp to Jordan’s midsection then tags in Dame.
James sends Jordan crashing into Dame’s boot and Dame looks to catapult Jordan into the corner.
Jordan avoids colliding with the turnbuckles and looks to fly off the top rope but Dame catches her and sends her colliding with her knee.
Henley and James tag in and Henley wastes no time going after James & Dame.
She beats them down and sends an interfering Jayne crashing into the mat then hits a kick to Dame’s head. She clocks Dame then ascends to the top rope.
James meets her up there and delivers a Spanish Fly then she goes for a pin but Henley kicks out. Dame tags and immediately tags out to Jayne.
Dame hits a flapjack to Henley before James follows it up with 401K and Jayne hits a running knee. Jayne goes for a pin but Hail breaks up the fall.
Hail stares down Jayne & James looks to plant Hail.
Hail counters into a Tornado DDT and delivers a flipping senton, then looks to fly.
Dame catches her and dumps her over the top rope but Hudson catches her. Jordan delivers a Stunner to Dame and ascends to the top rope.
She delivers a moonsault to level Jordan & James on the outside but Jazmyn Nyx clocks her and the referee doesn’t see.
Back in the ring Hail eggs Jayne on before they fire off right hands on one another and exchange strikes before Jayne hits her with a knee.
Hail hits a Thesz Press and fires off right hands on Jayne.
She follows it up with a suplex but Jayne looks to dump her out of the ring.
Hail lands on the apron but James pulls her off and tosses her back in the ring.
Dame tags in and Hail looks to land a tornado DDT.
Dame catches her but Hail counters into a Kimura Lock on Dame & Dame taps out.
Winners By Submission: Fallon Henley, Kelani Jordan & Thea Hail (11:41)

We then head over to a video of NXT General Manager Ava announcing that a Women’s North American Title has been created and the inaugural champion will be crowned soon.
We then see Giulia & Rossy Ogawa in the crowd with William Regal to watch the upcoming Women’s Title match
Women’s Title Match
Lyra Valkyria (c) vs. Roxanne Perez
Match starts off with a lock up before Lyra Valkyria hits a pair of mat returns and looks to land a spinning back heel kick but Perez ducks out of the way before she delivers a Tijeras.
Valkyria connects with a back elbow and sends Perez crashing out of the ring.
She hits a dropkick to her through the middle rope then gets her back in the ring.
Valkyria dropkicks Perez in the corner but Perez responds by beginning to target and wear down Valkyria’s arm.
Perez then hits a Russian leg sweep and sends Valkyria’s arm bouncing off the mat.
She hits a knee to her arm and stomps on it in the corner before she hits a drop toe hold and a right hand to Valkyria’s spine.
She continues to wear down Valkyria’s arm and wrenches it back then hits a suplex to her and locks in a modified version of an armbar.
Valkyria rolls up Perez out of the corner but Perez kicks out.
Valkyria hits a crossbody to Perez off the middle rope before they level one another with crossbodies.
Valkyria fires off strikes and kicks on Perez, then levels her with a pair of clotheslines and connects with more strikes and kicks.
She then hits a pair of northern lights suplexes and sends Perez’s face bouncing off her knee.
Valkyria ascends to the top, but Perez joins her up there and the pair exchange open palm strikes. Valkyria delivers a sit-out powerbomb to Perez, then looks to fly. Perez catches Valkyria with a right hand, then delivers a Tornado DDT through the middle rope and gets her back in the ring. Perez then connects with Pop Rox and goes for a pin, but Valkyria kicks out.
Perez sends Valkyria colliding with the ring post shoulder first in adjacent corners of the ring, then fires off right hands on her.
Tatum Paxley appears through the crowd to check on Valkyria but Perez clocks her.
Perez & Valkyria land on the outside where Valkyria lands a series of kicks on Perez.
Perez then sends Valkyria crashing into both Paxley and the ring post before she sends Valkyria’s arm bouncing off it.
Referees escort Paxley away from ringside as Perez locks in a crossface.
Valkyria transitions into a pinfall to escape then connects with a spinning back heel kick and goes for a pin but Perez kicks out.
Valkyria ascends to the top rope and looks to land a splash but Perez ducks out of the way and locks in a crossface. Valkyria once again reverses into a pin but Perez kicks out.
Perez sets up for Pop Rox but Valkyria escapes and reverses into a pin.
Perez counters the pinfall into one of her own but Valkyria kicks out.
Valkyria then gets Perez up on her shoulders but Perez reverses into a hurricanrana and Pop Rox. She locks in a crossface and Valkyria taps out.
Winner By Submission & New Women’s Champion: Roxanne Perez (16:02) (NEW CHAMPION!!!)

NXT Title Match
Ilja Dragunov (c) vs. Tony D’Angelo
Tony D’Angelo fires off a few right hands on Ilja Dragunov’s midsection then they go crashing out of the ring before Dragunov gets D’Angelo back inside.
D’Angelo sends Dragunov crashing back out of the ring but they quickly return and Dragunov levels D’Angelo with a clothesline.
Dragunov fires off forearm shots on D’Angelo then connects with a boot to his face and follows it up with a pair of German suplexes.
D’Angelo then continues to wear down Dragunov’s previously injured fingers that he had already begun to target earlier in the match.
D’Angelo & Dragunov teeter on the top rope but Dragunov sends them both crashing to the outside when he connects with a few headbutts on D’Angelo.
Dragunov hits a series of chops to D’Angelo on the outside but D’Angelo ducks out of the way on one of them and his hand is sent crashing into the ring post.
D’Angelo then sends Dragunov crashing into the ring post spine first but Dragunov responds with a Death Valley Driver that sends D’Angelo crashing into the barricade.
He gets D’Angelo back inside the ring and delivers a pair of German suplexes but Dragunov rocks him with an enzuigiri and a running knee.
Dragunov & D’Angelo find themselves back on the ropes and Dragunov pulls D’Angelo down with a powerbomb.
Stacks hands D’Angelo a pair of brass knuckles but D’Angelo gives them back not wanting to win that way.
Dragunov stomps on Stacks’ hand then hits a series of chops to D’Angelo back inside the ring.
D’Angelo catches Dragunov with a spinebuster before Dragunov rains down right hands on D’Angelo’s spine and kisses D’Angelo.
D’Angelo sends Dragunov crashing into the mat and fires off right hands on him but Dragunov connects with a boot.
D’Angelo lands a pair of belly 2 belly suplexes then turns Dragunov inside out.
D’Angelo hits a German suplex to Dragunov before they find themselves on the ropes once again and D’Angelo connects with a belly 2 belly suplex.
D’Angelo and Dragunov both clear the Spanish announce table on the outside and fire off right hands on one another.
D’Angelo gains the upper hand and looks to powerbomb Dragunov through the table but Dragunov escapes and lays D’Angelo on top of the announce table.
He climbs onto the barricade and hits H Bomb to D’Angelo through the announce desk.
They get back inside the ring and Dragunov hits a senton off the top to D’Angelo.
Dragunov climbs back up to the top and looks to fly but D’Angelo manages to counter into a powerbomb.
He then stomps on Dragunov’s hand and shoulder, then sends him crashing into the mat.
Dragunov then hits Torpedo Moskau and an H Bomb from the top rope for the win.
Winner & Still NXT Champion: Ilja Dragunov (17:05) (STILL CHAMPION!!!)

After the match Dragunov & D’Angelo shake hands with one another.
We then head backstage to Lyra Valkyria icing her arm in the medical office. Tatum Paxley catches up with her but Valkyria storms off and tells her it’s not the time.
We then head over to a video from Je’Von Evans & he announces he will be appearing on NXT this coming Tuesday.
Back in the ring Meta 4 announces that Stand & Deliver has a set a record for most fans ever in attendance at a NXT event.
Trick Williams vs. Carmelo Hayes
Match starts off with a lock up before Carmelo Hayes steps over Trick Williams then slaps the back of Williams’ neck.
Williams hits Hayes with a right hand but Hayes sends him crashing out of the ring.
Williams drags Hayes out to join him and sends him crashing into the ring apron face first.
He then sends Hayes crashing into the barricade and clotheslines him into the crowd and connects with a few right hands on his spine.
He sends his face bouncing off another barricade but Hayes sends Williams crashing through a barricade.
Williams sends Hayes over the barricade and crashing back into the ringside area.
They get back in the ring and Hayes hits a springboard clothesline to Williams.
He exposes the top turnbuckle and Williams hits a splash to Hayes in the corner with the exposed turnbuckle. They ascend up the ropes but Williams pushes Hayes off.
Hayes then sends Williams’ ribcage into the exposed turnbuckle and stomps on his chest on the outside.
He sends him crashing into the ring apron ribs first then gets him back inside the ring and continues firing off kicks on Williams’ chest.
Hayes hits a dropkick to Williams’ ribs but Williams clocks Hayes with a right hand.
Hayes looks for a springboard clothesline but Williams catches him with a right hand mid air.
Williams & Hayes then level one another with dropkicks before they exchange forearm strikes with one another.
Williams fires off right hands on Hayes then connects with a pair of back heel kicks and a flapjack. Hayes responds with a Tijeras and ascends to the top rope then looks to fly.
Williams catches Hayes and delivers a neckbreaker then follows it up with a big boot.
Hayes then connects with a kick on Williams’ head before Hayes flies from the ring apron and off the ropes on the outside to hit a clothesline to Williams near the Spanish announce desk broken earlier by Tony D’Angelo & Ilja Dragunov.
Hayes & Williams get back inside the ring and Hayes hits a Frog Splash to Williams off the top.
Hayes then catches Williams with a jumping codebreaker and unwraps the tape on his wrist. He looks to use it as a weapon but Williams prevents him from doing so.
Williams then looks to land a splash on Hayes in the corner but accidentally hits the referee then hits a chop block on Williams and grabs a chair from under the ring.
He slides it inside but Williams wrestles it away from him and uses it to hit him in the midsection with.
Williams cracks it across Williams’ spine repeatedly but the referee sees it in his hands once he recovers and grabs it from him.
Hayes delivers a low blow to Williams while the referee is distracted and pins him.
Williams kicks out and Hayes looks to land a knee on him.
Williams rolls out of the way and Hayes hits the referee leaving him and Williams alone once again.
Hayes ascends to the top rope and connects with Nothing But Net.
Another referee runs down to count Hayes’ pin after landing the move but Williams kicks out.
Hayes grabs the chair from the corner and looks to use it but the referee grabs the chair from him.
Both men run the ropes and Williams manages to connect with Trick Knee on Hayes for the win.
