AEW Rampage Review – March 15, 2024
Tag Team Match
Best Friends (Orange Cassidy & Trent Beretta) vs. Dark Order (John Silver & Evil Uno)
Orange Cassidy looks to put his hands in his pocket but Evil Uno prevents him from doing so and they lock up before John Silver tags in and puts his hands in Cassidy’s pocket.
Trent Beretta becomes legal and Best Friends hits a double shoulder tackle to Uno.
Best Friends make Dark Order hug one another before they hug each other with Chuck Taylor then Beretta lands a chop on Uno then follows it up with a back suplex.
Cassidy ascends to the top rope but Silver pulls him off and sends him crashing into the mat.
Beretta hits Silver with a pair of double knees but Uno connects with a neckbreaker.
Uno lands a flatliner as we go to a break.
After the break Beretta & Silver exchange forearms before Beretta looks to hit Dudebuster but Silver counters into a sunset flip.
Uno then lands a tilt a whirl backbreaker on Cassidy but Beretta catches him with a couple of chops.
Dark Order then hit their signature offense of signature moves but Cassidy hits Orange Punch to Silver & Beretta follows it up with Dudebuster for the win.
Winners: Best Friends
After the break we head backstage and see Zak Knight attack 2 people backstage as Harley Cameron & Saraya watch on before Angelo Parker then confronts him and begins brawling with Knight.
Tag Team Match
Women’s Champion Toni Storm & Mariah May vs. Kayla Sparks & LMK
Toni Storm blindsides LMK & Kayla Sparks then lands a clothesline on LMK in the ring then hits a stomp to her in the corner and fires off shoulders on her midsection.
Mariah May tags in and hits a forearm to LMK then follows it up with a chop and a spinning Sidewalk Slam. May hits a kick to LMK then tags in Storm.
Storm hits a German suplex then lands one with Sparks before May tags in and holds Sparks in place in the corner as Storm hits a hip attack.
She then lands one of her own then tags Storm back in.
Storm then hits Storm Zero on Sparks and tags May in & she pins Sparks for the win.
Winners: Women’s Champion Toni Storm & Mariah May
After the match Deonna Purrazzo & Thunder Rosa make their way down to the ring and look to attack Storm & May. Storm and May slide out of the ring before they can and Purrazzo challenges the 2 of them to a Tag Team Match next week.
Konosuke Takeshita vs. Komander
Konosuke Takeshita lands a shoulder tackle on Komander before Takeshita plants Komander on the mat from his shoulders but Komander responds with a springboard moonsault.
Takeshita lands a boot on Komander and lands a knee then hits a right hand and a few stomps on him in the corner. Takeshita responds with a suplex as we go to a break.
After the break Komander walks the ropes and hits a moonsault to Takeshita on the outside. He dumps him back in the ring then lands a hurricanrana.
Takeshita sends Komander crashing into the mat face first before he lands a Blue Thunder Bomb.
He then connects with a forearm and looks to plant Komander but Komander counters into a Mexican Destroyer. Komander then ascends to the top rope but Takeshita trips him.
Komander dials it up for a 619 on Takeshita’s leg then ascends to the top and walks the ropes. He looks to land a moonsault but Takeshita gets his knees up.
He then lands a running knee and a spinning Falcon Arrow for the win.
Winner: Konosuke Takeshita
Trios Match
Undisputed Kingdom (International Champion Roderick Strong, Mike Bennett & Matt Taven) vs. Top Flight (Dante Martin & Darius Martin) & Action Andretti
Roderick Strong wastes no time as he fires off stomps on Andretti in the corner before Mike Bennett tags in and jams his boot into Andretti’s neck.
Matt Taven tags in and sends Andretti’s head bouncing off the top turnbuckle then follows it up with a dropkick.
Dante Martin tags in and flies off the top rope to level Taven but Taven responds with an enzuigiri. Taven sends Dante crashing into the mat face first, then tags in Bennett.
Bennett hits a dropkick to Dante’s knee but Dante levels him with a kick of his own and tags in Darius Martin.
Top Flight sends Taven & Bennett crashing out of the ring and Darius gets Bennett back inside. Darius & Bennett then exchange chops and Darius runs the ropes.
Taven catches his ankle before Strong tags in and lands a few forearms.
Darius lands a Manhattan Drop and an enzuigiri then tags in Andretti before Andretti rolls up Strong but Strong kicks out.
Andretti lands a hurricanrana and a backbreaker then follows it up with a neckbreaker and a standing Shooting Star Press. He goes for a pin but Taven & Bennett break the fall.
Andretti levels Taven & Bennett then sends Strong crashing out of the ring to join them.
Top Flight & Andretti then fly to level Undisputed Kingdom on the outside as we go to a break.
After the break Dante & Bennett tag in. Dante fires off forearms on Bennett and lands an enzuigiri on him from the apron then follows it up with a kick to his face.
Andretti becomes legal and hits a 450 Splash off the top rope but an interfering Taven catches him with a boot when he looks to fly again.
Taven then ascends to the top rope but Andretti sends Bennett crashing into Taven.
Taven then looks to fly but Andretti levels him with a kick then Darius gets in the ring and looks to double team on Bennett with Andretti but Strong catches them both with a pair of jumping knees.
Taven & Bennett then hit the assisted Piledriver and Strong hits End Of Heartache for the win.
Winners: Undisputed Kingdom
