Jack Perry has made his long-awaited return to ring action after being sidelined.
Perry had not been seen or heard from in months after the incident with CM Punk at AEW All In last August. Perry was suspended following the incident, while Punk was released.
That all changed when he returned to wrestling for the NJPW Battle in the Valley event. At the event, Perry attacked Shota Umino. Perry then tore up an AEW contract and donned an armband bearing the word “Scapegoat”.
On Wednesday morning, Perry made his in-ring debut against Shota Umino in the New Japan Cup Tournament. The AEW star secured the victory to advance in the tournament. Following the fight, Perry joined The House of Torture.
It is unclear when he will return to in-ring action for All Elite Wrestling.
