WWE Raw Review – February 19, 2024
2024 Royal Rumble Winner Cody Rhodes vs. Drew McIntyre
Match starts off with a lock up before Drew McIntyre lands a pair of chops on Cody Rhodes in the corner but Rhodes responds with his signature open palm strike.
McIntyre & Rhodes then exchange a few chops before McIntyre stomps on Rhodes’ hand.
Rhodes then dumps McIntyre out of the ring and looks to fly but McIntyre catches him with a right hand.
Rhodes hits a dragon screw on McIntyre’s leg once he gets back in the ring and cinches in a Figure 4 as he begins to wear down McIntyre’s knee.
McIntyre reverses the submission hold but Rhodes makes it over to the bottom rope to break the hold as we go to a break.
After the break McIntyre hits a tilt a whirl backbreaker to Rhodes.
He jams his boot on Rhodes’ neck using the ring post as extra leverage then hits a series of chops to him back in the ring.
McIntyre fires off right hands and elbow strikes on Rhodes’ head then lands another pair of chops.
Rhodes responds with a boot to McIntyre’s face and a bulldog then follows it up with a flying forearm and scoop powerslam.
Rhodes then connects with Disaster Kick then Cody Cutter then goes for a pin but McIntyre kicks out. Rhodes sets up for Cross Rhodes but McIntyre escapes.
Rhodes then clotheslines McIntyre out of the ring as we go to a 2nd break.
After the 2nd break Rhodes & McIntyre exchange strikes in the center of the ring.
McIntyre lands a sit out powerbomb and sets up for Claymore but Rhodes catches him with a kick and a Pedigree.
McIntyre responds with a Future Shock DDT and ascends to the top rope but Rhodes joins him up there and delivers a superplex.
Rhodes then hits Cody Cutter off the top rope and goes for a pin but McIntyre kicks out.
Jimmy Uso runs down to the ring and hops up on the apron but Rhodes takes him out.
He sets up for Cross Rhodes on McIntyre but Solo Sikoa sneaks up on Rhodes and hits Samoan Spike while the referee is distracted by Jimmy.
This opens the door for McIntyre to connect with Claymore for the win.
Winner: Drew McIntyre
A video package spotlighted Gunther vs. Jey Uso for the Intercontinental Title later on tonight.
After the break photos aired of various celebrities wearing Snoop Dog’s Golden Title at NBA All Star Weekend.
A Andrade vignette aired & said he never had a choice. He spoke about his father, his uncles, his cousins and even his wife being pro wrestlers. He said it’s his destiny. He said people had high expectations and he didn’t let that stop him. He said he controls his destiny and it’s in WWE. He said the Andrade El Idolo era has just begun.
Michael Cole & Pat McAfee recaps Solo Sikoa attacking Cody Rhodes to cost him the match.
A brief video spotlighted the Women’s Elimination Chamber match.
After the break we get a recap of DIY saving R-Truth from a Judgment Day attack last week.

Shayna Baszler vs. Michin vs. Zoey Stark vs. Zelina Vega vs. Alba Fyre vs. Chelsea Green vs. Xia Li vs. Valhalla vs. Tegan Nox vs. Natalya vs. Indi Hartwell vs. Candice LeRae vs. Maxxine Dupri vs. Ivy Nile vs. Elektra Lopez vs. B Fab vs. Katana Chance vs. Isla Dawn vs. Raquel Rodriguez
All 19 woman starts brawling with one another. Chelsea Green and Maxxine Dupri end up tumbling over the top and onto the apron but Valhalla pushes Dupri off to eliminate her.
Raquel Rodriguez then sends her crashing over the top to take her out.
Xia Li then clocks Rodriguez but Rodriguez dumps her over the top and onto the floor.
The Unholy Union then look to double team on Rodriguez but Rodriguez dumps Isla Dawn onto the apron from over the top and connects with a boot to send her to the back as we go to a break.
After the break Alba Fyre looks to eliminate Natalya & Ivy Nile is brawling with Candice LeRae.
Rodriguez sends Nox onto the apron from over the top rope but Nox fights her way back in.
Zelina Vega fires off boots on Elektra Lopez in the corner, and Rodriguez dumps Indi Hartwell onto the apron from over the top rope.
Fyre sends Natalya onto the apron but Nox helps her back in.
Nox then tries dumping Natalya out of the ring but Natalya reverses it and sends her packing. Zoey Stark & Shayna Baszler work together to dump B Fab over the top rope.
Vega & Lopez continue to brawl but Green dumps Vega onto the apron but Vega fights her off but Lopez lands a big boot on her to eliminate her.
Michin then sneaks up on Lopez to eliminate her & Vega attacks her on the outside as they brawl to the back. Green & LeRae begin brawling and Green rakes LeRae’s eyes.
She sends her crashing into the ring post to eliminate her but Hartwell catches her with a boot. Hartwell looks to send Green packing but Baszler goes after her.
Hartwell gets Baszler onto the apron but Stark saves Baszler & Baszler sends Hartwell packing.
Katana Chance goes after Stark but Stark dumps her onto the apron and Baszler hits a running knee to eliminate her.
Fyre looks to land a tornado DDT but Rodriguez intercepts her and dumps her over the top rope and onto the floor.
Natalya then begins brawling with Rodriguez but Rodriguez overpowers her and looks to powerbomb her over the top rope.
Natalya counters into a hurricanrana but Ivy Nile surprises her and eliminates Natalya.
Nile then goes after Stark & Baszler but Stark hits a dropkick to Nile and they work together to eliminate her.
We are down to 4 Michin, Baszler, Stark & Rodriguez as Baszler fires off stomps on Rodriguez in the corner and Michin hits a German suplex to Stark.
She looks to do the same to Baszler but Stark hits a missile dropkick to her from the apron then they send Michin packing.
Rodriguez looks to eliminate Stark but Baszler prevents her from doing so.
Rodriguez then manages to eliminate Baszler but Baszler trips her from the outside.
Stark looks to fly from the apron but Rodriguez prevents her from doing so and hits a boot to Stark then eliminates her sending her crashing on top of Baszler.
Green who is still in the match looks to sneak up on Rodriguez but Rodriguez sees her coming and dumps her over the top rope for the win.
Winner & Gets Into The Women’s Elimination Chamber: Raquel Rodriguez
Jey Uso cuts a promo in the backstage area and said he would be the new Intercontinental Champion.
After the break Michael Cole asks Women’s World Champion Rhea Ripley & Nia Jax what they think about their upcoming Women’s World Title match at Elimination Chamber. He asks Ripley if she’s nervous and Ripley explains that when she came to WWE there were times she wanted to quit. She says she had to remind herself of who she was and says she’s the most dominant woman in all of WWE.
Jax says Ripley’s statement was cute then says she’s twice the size of Ripley and has triple the talent. She says Mami will go crying to her mommy when she’s done with her and Ripley says Jax will cry when she hears everyone in Ripley scream her name. She says Jax’s nightmares will become reality when she realizes that she’s just not good enough and storms off.
Jackie Redmond set up her interview with R Truth from earlier in the day. The footage aired of Redmond asking Truth about the first time he met Judgment Day. Footage aired while Truth said it was special just like the first time that John Cena tried on a pair of jean shorts. Truth also spoke about how Damian Priest broke his heart. Truth said he hasn’t cried this much since the finale of This Is Us and made a reference to Tony Soprano. Redmond asked Truth if he would ever be able to let anyone in again. Truth said he had new friends in Shawn Michaels & Triple H (a shot aired of Johnny Gargano & Tommaso Ciampa and they were listed as not Michaels or Triple H). Truth made a heart with his hands and walks away to end the interview.
After the break Michael Chandler addresses the crowd and calls out Conor McGregor.
Chad Gable & Ivar cuts brief promos about their match.
8 Man Tag Team Match
Judgement Day (Undisputed WWE Tag Team Champions Mr Money In The Bank Damian Priest & Finn Balor, Dominik Mysterio & JD McDonagh) vs. Awesome Truth (The Miz & R Truth) & DIY (Tommaso Ciampa & Johnny Gargano)
JD McDonagh goes right after The Miz before Miz responds with IT Kicks before both teams begin brawling with one another in the middle of the ring.
Awesome Truth & DIY send Judgment Day crashing to the outside then pay tribute to D-Generation X by hitting their signature pose as we go to a break.
After the break Finn Balor tags in and hits an elbow to the back of Tommaso Ciampa’s neck. Ciampa lands a chop then double teams on Balor with Johnny Gargano.
Balor fires off shoulders in the corner on Gargano then tags in Damian Priest.
Priest sends Gargano crashing into the corner then tags Balor back in & wears Gargano down with a submission hold.
R Truth & McDonagh tag in and Truth lands a pair of shoulder tackles on him.
He connects with 5 Knuckle Shuffle then gets him up on his shoulders.
Priest tags in and McDonagh lands a headbutt on him then Priest sends Truth crashing into the ring post on the outside as we go to a another break.
After the 2nd break Ciampa tags in and levels Balor and double teams on him & Balor.
He delivers a hanging DDT to McDonagh and catches Dominik Mysterio with a knee on the outside as he flies off the ring steps.
He slides back inside the ring and hits a reverse DDT to Balor before Balor & Ciampa take each other out with crossbodies.
Truth & Priest tag in and Truth fires off strikes on Priest then hits a splash to Priest in the corner but Priest looks to land a chokeslam on Truth.
Truth avoids it and connects with a Scissor Kick then follows it up with a flatliner and goes for a pin.
Priest kicks out and DIY & The Miz hits McDonagh, Mysterio & Balor with superkicks before going flying on the outside to level them all.
Back in the ring Truth looks to fly but Priest catches him and sets up for South Of Heaven.
Truth rolls Priest up but Priest kicks out and connects with South Of Heaven for the win.
Winners: Judgement Day

Jackie Redmond interviewed Sami Zayn inside his locker room and asked him about The Bloodline interfering in the Cody Rhodes vs. Drew McIntyre match. Zayn said he had to hit the pause button on his feud with McIntyre. He said he knows how he gets when he gets focused on one person and he gets stuck. Zayn said he knows there’s still a path to WrestleMania not just to go there but to do something historic. Zayn said he will be a champion.
Becky Lynch says The Man has come around to Anaheim then thanks them for being an amazing crowd tonight and says she’s been lucky enough in her career to do some amazing things. She says while there aren’t a lot of new things for her to do 2 things that are new to her are wearing a backwards baseball cap and competing in an Elimination Chamber match. She says winning would mean she faces Rhea Ripley for the Women’s World Title at WrestleMania 40 and they’ve been dancing around each other over the past year. She says she & Ripley will inevitably collide and while they both live for the business they’ve been living differently.
Lynch says Ripley has been front and center riding a wave of merriment that only comes around once in a lifetime while she’s been hiding in plain sight as the biggest threat to Ripley’s title. She says she’s the best she’s ever been but on the flip side so has everybody else. She says she’ll be stepping inside the Elimination Chamber with 5 of the best and promising stars and says she’s beaten most of them but not in the confines of a cage full of steel and glass.
Before she can continue Liv Morgan’s music hits and she makes her way down to the ring. Morgan says she’s a big fan of Lynch’s hat but she’s not a fan of hearing Lynch explain why she should face Ripley at WrestleMania 40. She says it’s cool Lynch wants to prove herself as the best, but for her it’s about revenge. She recalls her past with Ripley and Ripley’s betrayal and says she eventually found success as 2x Women’s Tag Team Champions. She says a week after the 2nd time they won the Women’s Tag Team Titles Ripley injured her shoulder a week later and sidelined her. She reminds Lynch she was the last person to beat Ripley.
Raquel Rodriguez’s music hits and she makes her way down to the ring and explains that while they’re entirely focused on Ripley Nia Jax could dethrone her as Women’s World Champion at Elimination Chamber. She says only one person is big and strong enough to take on Ripley.
Naomi’s music hits and she makes her way down to the ring. Lynch welcomes her back to Raw and Naomi thanks her. She says she came back to WWE for a reason and says she intends to climb her way to the top where she belongs. She says she knows that now more than ever.
Tiffany Stratton’s music hits and she makes her way down to the ring. Stratton says it’s Tiffy Time and says while Naomi was out trying to make a name for herself she left an empty space. She says the only space she’s concerned about is being the center of this universe and says no one cares about the past. She says the past is all she sees when looking at her fellow Elimination Chamber competitors and says she’s the future.
Bianca BelAir’s music hits and she makes her way down to the ring. She tells Stratton she doesn’t know where running her mouth could get her and says she’s the only competitor in the match to win it. She says she intends to do it again to continue her undefeated WrestleMania streak and says you can’t spell WrestleMania without EST. Stratton says Belair is so last year because that’s when she peaked and BelAir objects. She tells Stratton she just got here and Morgan echoes her sentiment.
All 6 women begin brawling with one another until Jax slides inside the ring and levels everyone. She catches Naomi with a Samoan Drop then clocks Stratton on the apron and hits a Samoan Drop to Morgan into the ring post. She sends Stratton crashing into the ring steps then shoves BelAir in the ring and hits a leg drop to the back of Rodriguez’s neck. She does the same to Morgan and hits one to Lynch.
Intercontienetal Champion Gunther cuts a backstage promo and spoke about how it’s the biggest night of Jey Uso’s career. Gunther boasted that he is the longest reigning and greatest Intercontinental Champion of all time. He said he would make it clear that Jey doesn’t belong in the main event. I’m afraid you’ll have to keep on dreaming Gunther closed.
A subtitled Shinsuke Nakamura promo aired. Nakamura rebutted Sami Zayn’s promo and said true fighter don’t whine to everyone to get the spotlight. He said he would give Zayn one. Nakamura said that he will make sure Zayn remains an underdog by beating him and breaking him again. He said he would drag him to the very bottom so he can bask in everyone’s sympathy. Nakamura said he would show everyone that their contender is a pretender.
Chad Gable vs. Ivar
Ivar runs over Chad Gable with a boot then Ivar ascends to the top rope but Gable hits a kick that sends him to the outside and follows it up with a splash off the top rope.
Ivar sends him crashing into the timekeeper’s area but Gable lands on his feet as he climbs onto the barricade but Ivar trips him and powerbombs him on top of it as we go to a break.
After the break Ivar looks to land a bodyslam on Gable from the top rope but Gable escapes and pulls Ivar off.
He follows it up with a kick to Ivar’s midsection but Ivar manages to connect with a powerbomb then locks in an Ankle Lock but Ivar fights him off.
The action then spills to the outside and Ivar shoves Gable into the barricade.
He charges at him, but Gable rolls out of the way and Ivar collides with the ring screen.
Gable looks to connect with a German suplex on Ivar but is unsuccessful.
They get back inside the ring and Ivar ascends to the top rope.
He delivers a sit out senton and climbs back up to the top once again.
He looks to hit a moonsault but Gable rolls out of the way and hits a German suplex to him.
Gable then ascends to the top and hits a moonsault then pins Ivar but Ivar kicks out.
Gable immediately transitions into an Ankle Lock and Ivar taps out.
Winner By Submission: Chad Gable
Backstage Cathy Kelly is with Drew McIntyre & McIntyre said Cody Rhodes has been on the run of a lifetime for the last 2 years. McIntyre said only 1 person pinned Rhodes before tonight. McIntyre dubbed himself The Savior Of WrestleMania. Kelley asked if the victory was tainted by The Bloodline’s interference. He immediately said no. He said people call him a hypocrite. He said he thinks big picture. He said he’s not selfish, he’s doing this for the World Heavyweight Title, Raw and the fans. McIntyre said he would win the Elimination Chamber match and go on to WrestleMania because he is the true workhorse of WWE and the future World Heavyweight Champion.
After the break New Day cuts a backstage promo & Xavier Woods said Jey Uso would win the Intercontinental Title. Woods said next week would be their turn. Kofi Kingston said Imperium tried to end his career. Woods said they’ve been targeted by Imperium for weeks. Kingston said it’s because they are the industry standard. Kingston said it’s not over until they say it’s over. Woods said they have a surprise for Imperium. Kingston said there would be no rules. New Day picks up kendo sticks and said they would face Imperium in a Street Fight next week.
Intercontienetal Title Match
Gunther (c) vs. Jey Uso
Gunther shoves Jey Uso before Jey returns the favor with an open palm strike and Gunther hits a boot.
He follows it up with a chop then uses the top turnbuckle to wear Jey down with a spine submission.
He lands another chop on the outside before he sends Jey crashing on top of the barricade near the timekeeper’s area and ring apron as we go to a break.
After the break Jey hits an enzuigiri to Gunther from the apron and ascends to the top rope but Gunther catches him with a right hand and hits a neck crank then follows it up with a backbreaker.
The action spills back out of the ring and Jey hits a back body drop to Gunther on the floor.
He follows it up with a Samoan Drop on top of the announce table and dumps him back in the ring then sets up for a spear.
Gunther looks to send him crashing into the ring post but Jey prevents him from doing so.
He connects with a back elbow and open palm strike then charges at him but Gunther catches him with a missile dropkick and a powerbomb then goes for a pin but Jey kicks out.
Jey looks to land a superkick on Gunther but Gunther catches him with a clothesline and locks in a Boston Crab.
Jey makes his way over to the bottom rope to break the hold and Gunther then charges at him. Jey low bridges him out of the ring and flies to level him as we go to a 2nd break.
After the 2nd break Jey & Gunther exchange forearm shots with one another.
Gunther hits Jey with a series of chops before Jey hits a spear and goes for a pin.
Gunther kicks out and Jey ascends to the top rope & sets up for an Uso Splash but Gunther meets him up there and pulls him off.
He ascends to the top rope and hits an Splash then a cover but Jey kicks out before Gunther lands another pair of chops on Jey but Jey responds with a forearm.
They go back & forth before Jey hits a 2nd spear and a 3rd one on the apron then hits a 4th spear to Gunther on the floor then dumps him back in the ring and hits a 5th spear.
He ascends to the top rope and hits Uso Splash then goes for a pin & before the referee can finish his 3 count a hooded figure rings the bell.
The hooded figure reveals themselves to be Jimmy Uso and security looks to escort him out.
Jey connects with a superkick on Gunther and hits security & Jimmy on the outside with a tope suicida then looks to hit Uso Splash but Gunther gets his knees up and pins Jey for the win.
Winner & Still Intercontienetal Champion: Gunther (STILL CHAMPION!!!!)
After the match Jimmy hits a superkick to Jey and tells Jey no matter how big he gets, he’s always the big brother. Jimmy then ascends to the top rope and hits Uso Splash to Jey. He holds up the 1 sign to close out this week’s Raw.
