SmackDown this past Friday night featured a number of Elimination Chamber Qualifying Matches, one of which is a Women’s Elimination Chamber Qualifying Match between Naomi vs. Alba Fyre. Naomi walked out of the match with a win to move on to Elimination Chamber: Perth and compete in the Women’s Chamber Match for a chance to challenge Rhea Ripley for her Women’s World Championship at WrestleMania 40.
Naomi took part in a backstage digital exclusive interview shortly following SmackDown, where she talked about a number of topics including how she has been doing bigger and bigger things since she returned to the WWE last month and how she is excited to take the glow global in Perth.
Naomi said, “My gosh, first my return at the Royal Rumble.” “Then I have my first singles match back on SmackDown tonight for the Elimination Chamber. I win, now I’m going to Australia to compete in Perth.”
“My gosh, and then possibly if I win, well, I take that back. I will win and then be going to WrestleMania. Since I’ve returned, everything that I keep doing just keeps getting bigger. and bigger and better and better. And I’m so excited to take the glow to Perth because the glow is global.”
