The Columbus Dispatch recently reported that WWE has received a significant amount of tax break from the state of Ohio for 2024, which totals to about $1,675,986. It was also mentioned on the report that Ohio usually does this in support of artists filming their productions within the state and that a total of $44 million has been allocated for such projects.
WWE has been categorized under TV series and the company has certainly benefitted from the state’s funding initiative.

Awarded projects total nearly $503 million in production expenses, $146.7 million in total eligible production expenses and are expected to create 530 full-time jobs, according to the Ohio Department of Development. Development received 27 applications for the Fiscal Year 2024 January round, requesting nearly $60 million in tax credits.
