TNA Impact is back on AXTV! On the card is TNA World Champion Moose vs. Kushida and Savannah Evans vs. Knockouts World Champion Jordynne Grace. Also, continuing their Best of 3 Series the Grizzled Young Veterans vs ABC (Chris Bey & Ace Austin). The Grizzled Young Vets beat ABC last week. Can they maintain the momentum, or will ABC tie about the series? Continue below for the results.
Frankie Kazarian vs. Jake Something
RESULTS: During the match, the camera shows Eric Young watching the match. Frankie attacked EY a couple week ago! Frankie Kazarian defeats Jake Something via pinfall while holding the ropes after he tripped Jake off the top rope.
Eric Young backstage promo:
He said he’s been watching Frankie Kazarian, and he has a lot to say to him, but they should say it face to face. He said he was inviting him to the ring to talk next week.
Savannah Evans w/Gisele Shaw vs. Jordynne Grace (TNA Knockouts World Champion)
RESULTS: Jordynne Grace defeats Savannah Evans via pinfall with a Muscle Buster. After the match, Gisele Shaw attacked Grace from behind. She then holds up the X and the TNA Knockouts World Championship.
Gia Miller interviews Ash by Elegance backstage:
Ash’s assistant took over the interview and Gia left. Ms. Elegance walked in as her assistant raved about her dress. She said that next week she would be making her TNA in-ring debut.
Sound Check with Alan Angels with Simon Gotch:
Gotch talks all about the things that Josh Alexander has overcome. Such as pushing Alexander to his limit in the match that Scott D’Amore watched and gave him his contract. Simon says people always forget to mention his name when telling that story. They showed clips of Alexander vs. Gotch. He says Alexander built his entire legacy in TNA on Gotch. He asks Alexander if he had the fortitude to face him. Alexander rushed the set, but security held him back! They were about to fight when the camera cut out.
Second best of 3 series match: the Grizzled Young Veterans vs ABC (Chris Bey & Ace Austin)
RESULTS: ABC tie up the series when Bey grabbed Gibson’s leg and held on, while Ace rolled up Drake for the pin.
Dirty Dango segment:
He says if he could do it all over, he would go to race car school and not wrestling school. Dango asks Oleg Prudius his ranking in last year’s PWI 500. Oleg didn’t answer. Dango talked about the young guys getting the rub from them. He challenged wrestlers with one year or less experience to fight them. Dirty Dango pointed to a number to call, but the number never came up.
Mustafa Ali promo:
Clips were playing as he talks about the history of the X-Division. He vows to be the leader of the X Division.
The Good Hands promo:
They introduce themselves to Ali! They say they weren’t the only supporters of Ali, the camera zoomed out and showed others standing around. Chris Sabin walked in. The Good Hands said he was the guy that would lose the title to Ali. One of the guys mouthed off to Sabin so he decked him before walking out!
TNA Digital Media Title CRAZZY STEVE (c) vs. RHINO
RESULTS: AND STILL TNA DIGITAL MEDIA CHAMPION CRAZZY STEVE! Crazzy Steve defeats Rhino via pinfall after Steve pulls out a fork, but the referee gets rid of it. Steve then hits Rhino with the belt and got the pinfall.
PCO Promo:
He yells out for Kon and says, “No Surrender.”
Deaner vs. Joe Hendry
RESULTS: Before the match, Hendry’s entrance music was interrupted by a diss rhyme from AJ Francis to Hendry’s music. AJ came to the stage and said he was the new king, and the show will now be called TNA J Francis. Fans chanted “AJ sucks!” Hendry said he was caught off guard and it hurt his feelings. He said he was speechless. Joe said he had a backup video just in case and said to roll it. They played a video of Hendry mocking AJ. The theme was “Banned from Diving.” There was a funny part where they made fun of AJ’s friend Steve in AJ’s rap video. Deaner attacks Hendry from behind. AJ got in the ring and choke slammed Hendry. Rich Swann ran in and attacked Deaner. AJ and Swann were face to face. AJ backed off and left the ring to boos.
The match ended in a no contest because it never got started.
Footage:
We see Steve Maclin attacking Nic Nemeth at a World Wrestling Council event in Puerto Rico. Backstage, Gia speaks to Maclin and The Rascalz. Maclin says his actions speak louder than words because he doesn’t want Nemeth in TNA. Trent Seven and Mike Bailey interrupt. Seven challenges Maclin to a match next week, but Maclin walks away.
Killer Kelly W/Masha Slamovich vs. Dani Luna w/Jody Threat
RESULTS: Dani Luna defeats Killer Kelly via pinfall after, Dani throws Kelly into Masha on the apron. Dani then rolled her up for the pin. After the match, MK Ultra attacked Dani and Jody. The lights went out and Decay came out on the stage. Decay got in the ring and MK Ultra fled up the ramp.
Everyone is banned from ringside: Kushida vs Moose (TNA World Champion)
RESULTS: Moose defeats Kushida via pinfall with a Spear! After the match, The System walks out to celebrate with Moose. Myers and Edwards hold Kushida up so Alisha can slap him. Eddie punches him down before Knight and Shelley run down to start a big brawl. Alex Shelly, Kevin Knight and Kushida were left standing tall in the ring as The System retreated.
