WWE Main Event Results – February 15, 2024
Chelsea Green vs. Tegan Nox
Match starts off with a lock up and they fight for an advantage then Tegan Nox back Chelsea Green into the corner and complains to the ref about a hair pull.
They go again and Green grabs the hair behind the ref’s back then Green climbs the ropes while in the lock up and then just falls on her face.
Running uppercut from Nox followed by a release suplex where she drops Green on her face.
Green rolls to the floor as she needs a minute but Nox comes off the apron with a flipping senton. Nox heads up top but Green lands a kick to the chest.
She hangs Nox over the middle ropes and just stomps her face into the apron then Green gets a two count and then another as she yells at the ref.
Nox chews on the middle rope to show that she is fighting through the pain then Nox with a roll up for two count. They start trading slaps and Chelsea wins that exchange.
They go through a pin several sequence that gets another 12 two counts before a clothesline from Nox connects then some hammer fists.
Another running uppercut from Nox knocks Green on her ass in the corner.
Splash from Nox and she heads up top & comes off with a crossbody but Green rolls through with a handful of tights to get the win.
Winner: Chelsea Green
Akira Tozawa vs. Dante Chen
Dante Chen casually tosses Akira Tozawa across the ring then grabs a waist lock and throws Tozawa around a bit.
Tozawa hooks a side headlock and lands on his feet as Chen tries to dump him.
Pounce from Chen sends Tozawa flying before Tozawa gets his feet up to block a charge.
He snaps off a headscissors followed by a dropkick then looks to fly but Chen rushes back in and gets a backbreaker as we go to a break.
After the break Chen in control as Tozawa takes a whip into the corner then another to the opposite corner & that gets a two count then Chen hooks a reverse chinlock.
Another whip to the corner and another backbreaker for another two count then back to a another reverse chinlock before Chen tries for a 3rd backbreaker but Tozawa is ready this time.
Shining Wizard from Tozawa followed by a suicide dive to the floor then a missile dropkick from the top rope gets a two count.
Chen fights off Tozawa’s back with some elbows and hits a Brogue Kick for a two count.
Roll up for Tozawa gets a two count then a head kick from Tozawa connects and he rips his shirt before he heads up top and hits a Senton for the win.
Winner: Akira Tozawa
