Injuries will occur in wrestling regardless of the style used, whether it is a mat-based grappler or a high flyer. Unfortunately, one of the top AEW stars has been sidelined for several months due to injury.
Jamie Hayter hasn’t been seen since defending her AEW Women’s Title against Toni Storm at the Double or Nothing event in Las Vegas, Nevada, in May.
Hayter was known to be injured prior to the bout. Storm emerged victorious. A few months ago, it was reported that Hayter’s return date was tentatively scheduled for February 2024.
Dave Meltzer was asked on Wrestling Observer Radio if there was an update on Hayter’s return.
“I hope so [whether fans can look forward to seeing her return soon]. I have not been given a date on Jimmy Hayter, though. I just heard early this year, and we’re early in the year. So there you go. But I’ve heard nothing new, and I mean, I would say since in a couple of months, really.”
