WWE has brought back one of its top prospects after being sidelined for an extended period of time due to an injury.
WWE held an NXT live event on Friday night in Crystal River, Florida, with NXT Women’s Champion Lyra Valkyria retaining her title over Lola Vice. It also featured Sol Ruca’s return to the ring.
Ruca impressed WWE officials after making her in-ring debut in the summer of 2022, following a successful run on the developmental brand. Prior to Ruca’s injury, WWE considered giving her a shot at the NXT Women’s Tag Team Championship alongside Dani Palmer.
Ruca was written off NXT’s special Spring Breakin’ episode in May, along with former NXT Women’s Champion Indi Hartwell and Grayson Waller. Ruca was out with a torn ACL.
Ruca collaborated with Brinley Reece on the house show to put over (Jacy Jayne and Thea Hail).
