According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, STARDOM star and current NJPW STRONG Women’s Champion Giulia, who has had a significant amount of interest from AEW and WWE for quite some time now and is believed to be WWE-bound, could have her run as champion come to an end.
The report states that NJPW has pulled Giulia from her upcoming championship match at Windy City Riot in Chicago this April 12 and word is her contract with the company is set to expire in March.
She told Bushiroad (the parent company of STARDOM and NJPW) that she would like to complete her dates and finish up her obligation with the promotion rather than wrestle any more matches.
There’s no word yet on when Giulia will compete in her final match with the promotion, but she will most likely be losing her title on the show.
