WWE star Big E still lacks a timeline for an in-ring comeback, so fans hoping to learn whether the former WWE Champion will return to the ring following a severe neck injury in 2022 will have to wait.
During the WWE SmackDown show on March 11, 2022, Big E injured his neck following Ridge Holland’s overhead belly-to-belly suplex at ringside. His C1 and C6 vertebrae were fractured when he fell on his neck.
Big E has since worked for WWE in a variety of capacities, including as an ambassador and as a recruiter for the NIL program.
Big E said in an interview with TMZ that his neck is completely assembled and that “the bones are connected to the other bones.”
He added, “I just want to make a smart decision. I didn’t start wrestling to end up in a wheelchair. So, I want to make sure I’m making the best decision for myself. I don’t have a timeline, unfortunately, so thank you for asking.”
