In front of a packed house, Matt Riddle returned to MLW for the first time since 2018. His opponent was one of the best in MLW history and the longest-reigning MLW Champion, Jacob Fatu.
The crowd was electric from start to finish. Chants of “Bro” and “Uce” reigned down from the fans. It was a back-and-forth contest. Both competitors had moments in the match.
In the end, it took multiple submission attempts by Riddle to get Fatu to finally tap. After the match, the two embraced in a great sign of sportsmanship and respect.
Riddle is currently advertised for MLW Reload, which is a taped program that airs on January 20th on YouTube.
He is also announced for MLW’s Intimidation Games live event on February 29th.
