Fightful Select reports that former WWE NXT Tag Team Champions the Authors of Pain (Akam and Rezar) are expected back on television soon and that they will be working on the SmackDown brand once they make their return.
It was also mentioned on the report that the Authors of Pain actually re-signed with WWE over a year and a half ago and started appearing at the Performance Center in the summer of 2022, but it seems no creative plans have been made for them since then. Legendary wrestling manager Paul Ellering is going to join Akam and Rezar as well.
