The trend of Roman Reigns missing yet another WWE premium live event appears to be continuing in 2024.

Since winning the WWE Championship from Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 38 in 2022, Reigns has had a restricted schedule. His most recent encounter was at Crown Jewel, where he defeated LA Knight to retain the WWE Universal Title. As he did not work Payback, Fastlane, or Survivor Series, this was his first televised match since Summerslam.

Reigns is scheduled to appear at the Royal Rumble PLE next year on January 27th from Tampa, Florida, at the Tropicana Field. He’ll also be back on SmackDown Live this Friday.

Backlash will take place on Saturday, May 4, 2024, from the LDLC Arena in Lyon-Decines, France.

WWE revealed an early poster for the PLE featuring World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins, Women’s World Champion Rhea Ripley, Becky Lynch, Cody Rhodes, and other stars. Reigns’ name is missing, indicating that he will not be appearing on the show, however this could easily change.

Reigns is also not advertised for WWE Bash in Berlin, which takes place on August 31, 2024, at the Mercedes-Benz Arena in Berlin, Germany.
